Nice one yet again @whileponderin, quite a cool way to generate water even in the desert, and the fact it's from harnessing the features of an animal, awesome. At least the problem of water in a desert is solved (though to an extent) leaving us to deal with the heat over there. I think we still have a lot to study with regards to these animals and putting out findings to use will be a win to some of our problems.

If by discovering the solution for the heat you mean a non energy consuming solution, (i.e no electric fan nor A.C), I think we can also find a solution to that in nature. On a lighter mood, @logic42. My best friend claims he can't remember the last time he sweated, says he doesn't feel hot even during the hottest hours of the day. Maybe, if I can be able to take him to a laboratory as a specimen one day, I bet we might discover a way to solve this problem.
