When we talk about God people often quote 1000 year old scripture to prove God is real, but in my opinion if God is real we should be able to use modern examples/proof for the argument. Can God die? Why does a God need to be praised or is that a human construct to make up for our own deficits. Is God absent? Where was God last seen in action?
