>To not even mention alternatives like Changelly, Poloniex or Bittrex in this post is borderline irresponsible and makes it very incomplete / biased.

>Why would you recommend some convoluted process using DOGECOIN only because @blocktrades is charging 13 USD transaction fee for Bitcoin? I wasn't aware of that and I think it's scandalous since BTC transactoin fees for bitcoin fluctuate and have been in the 2-3$ range for the last two weeks.

Did you read the whole post or you just saw the blocktrades fees and went to down vote and started yapping?

You said my post is irresponsible and biased. Didn't you see that I put how much blocktrades charges fees for the BTC and LITECOIN. You did not know about blocktrades rates and fees did you, not until you read my post. Because if you did know about the high fees and did not tell people then you are the irresponsible one.

My post is aimed at Australian Steemians who are not used to trading cryptos on the exchanges like me, that is why I used the easy route with minimal loss I hope. Not all of us are expert in exchanges and trading.

Steemit (Blocktrades) --------> Coinspot ----------> My Australian Bank

This is your argument

Steemit --------> Bittrex or poloniex or changelly -------> Now I have to trade my steem / sbd to BTC ----> Bittrex BTC transferred to my Coinspot ------> My Australian Bank

Why would I trade my steem to btc if I can get dogecoin straight from blocktrades and quickly exchange that dogecoin to Australian dollar at coinspot?

I will give you a challenge, instead you down voting this post and calling me irresponsible, why don't you make a tutorial on how to cash out my steem or SBD to australian dollar. You have to remember your audience are people like me who are not used to trading and exchanges. You also have to keep in mind that we will be cashing out the lowest amount of steem we can possibly get say 10 steem / sbd or lower.

> (formatting could also be improved - a lot!)

Well sorry to disappoint you about my formatting. I am not a college graduate or have a degree or used computer and other computer gadget stuff every time. I am just a grease monkey using spanners and hammers all day.

Maybe next time I have a post or article I can come to you and you can edit my post to make it better. How about that?

### Come on people. You all seem to have problem with blocktrades fees and rates. Instead of complaining and down voting this post, do something constructive!! Like suggest how can I cash out my STEEM/SBD to Australian Dollars with minimal loss.

You say
> Steemit (Blocktrades) --------> Coinspot ----------> My Australian Bank

vs

> Steemit --------> Bittrex or poloniex or changelly -------> Now I have to trade my steem / sbd to BTC ----> Bittrex BTC transferred to my Coinspot ------> My Australian Bank

But there is no difference between Changelly and Blocktrades in terms of steps.

Thanks for the input, I went and sign up for changely to try.

Remember that on our coinspot we only have BTC wallet, LITECOIN wallet and a DOGECOIN wallet. Also we need to be able to send low amount of steem/sbd say 10 steem/sbd or lower.

In changely we can exchange to BTC and LITECOIN no dogecoin. Exchange rate is better and fees are lower.

I used lite coin, unfortunately a minimum of 33 STEEM is required. So the DOGECOIN at blocktrades is still a best option for now.

I will be updating the post above to include changely and the option that was suggested by @ausbitbank which is very great for Australians in terms of transferring to their banks and paying bills straight from steemit.com

Maybe a separate posts on its own for changely and livingroomofsatoshi

What's the problem with using Bittrex or Poloniex, is it something to do with you being in Australia?
