Since I was a child, I thought I wanted to live to 105 years old.
I do not remember the reason for that thought or that goal that I had set for myself, I have no idea why I set that age (105), but today I keep that yearning, I think it is just the right time to be able to say that I have seen life from all angles.
Now, this weekend, when I am faced with the prospect of reaching 100, but deciding between having the body or the mind of a 30 year old, I think that neither option would suit me, and I will explain my reason below.
I think that every stage of life has its reason for being, every stage of life must be lived with intensity, with passion and just as we lived our childhood days with many games, a stage that is not complicated to make friends, resentment and/or hatred were not present and if there was any unpleasantness we passed in the blink of an eye.
In adolescence comes rebellion, adventure, and first love, a very important stage because we begin to polish our personality, we begin to live adventures and with rebellion, we are just rehearsing what will be the defense of our beliefs, our concepts, and our convictions.
Adolescent rebellion is the trial and error of growing up.
When you reach the period of your 20s and 30s, you are already graduated, you begin to experience the responsibilities and go out into the arena of life, for the job competition, to be the best candidate for a project and this leads you to strive to acquire more knowledge and of course with formidable energy that allows you to venture into many things and possibly create one or more companies.
At this stage of life, you may get the love of your life or many loves.
When you go through your 40s, which they say is a crisis, you already have some experience, but the energy you experience is formidable and you want to prove that you are alive.
You are aware that you have responsibilities, but you know how to handle them very well, you have already completed your projects and you are going for more.
In the 40s there is a touch of elegance, an attractiveness that attracts the opposite sex, there is a lot of mischiefs and all of that should be enjoyed.
When you reach 50, which I call the new 40, more or less the same thing happens, but you are no longer running around with young girls or chicks, but you start to value mature women more, you notice that they are more interesting, they know what they want and they go to the point, they ask for what they want and you just have to comply.
The kids are grown, there is more freedom to go on certain adventures and if you are with a partner, the walks are perfect.
As I said at the beginning, all stages are important, all stages are beautiful, and all of them must be lived and learned from.
The fear of death forces us to cling to life, to want to live until eternity.
After 50, the golden years come, full of wisdom, a lot of mischiefs, a lot of maturities and you want to transmit all that to your loved ones so that when it is their turn to live their stages, they have a better time than you did.
We enjoy the projects achieved by our children, we enjoy the beauty of having grandchildren and the fear of death is softening, and we accept that life is nothing without death; it is a natural process that every living being experiences. Spiritual peace is felt.
In my case I keep falling in love with old ladies; I love them, and I'm addicted to love.
For all the stages to be wonderful, we must take care of the temple, that is, our body.
We have to eat very well, exercise, be active, not be sedentary and always have an open mind, willing to acquire knowledge, not just read the newspaper, we must seek to learn.
A long life begins in our mind, we are what we think and if in our thoughts we feel young, then life will give us satisfaction regardless of the age that appears in the identity documents; they are just numbers.
As life progresses, we acquire experiences and with this we can carry out better projects, we will have better ideas, we will make better decisions and happiness will be present.
To reach 100 years of age with a young body of 30, with the thoughts of an old man, I don't see much benefit and to be with a body of 100 and a mind of 30, well, I see it as very limited.
So this weekend, I will stay with my age and continue taking care of my body to reach the goal I set for myself as a child, to reach 105 years old without wearing diapers and running around with old ladies; for the latter, we will help each other with the blue pill; if it becomes necessary.
It is decreed.
