Hi Splinterlanders, I hope this post finds you well! So the countdown ist on: 43 new soulbound reward cards are coming at the beginning of next season, 6 of them are summoners. And boy, they are special summoners. The new conscript ability is a gamechanger, not only in ranked battles but especially in brawls. Just to recap, these summoners can conscript a gladiator in ranked battles and a SECOND gladiator in brawls. When you use this summoner and have the conscript ruleset, you can bring a second gladiator in ranked battles and a THIRD one in brawls. This, apart from 37 new monsters, 3 new abilities and at least 2 new rulesets, opens up a whole new range of strategies and card combinations. <br>
I would like to mention some of the possibilities just off the top of my head with focus on gladiator duos in brawls. To experienced brawlers, these example combinations will be obvious but to new players, especially those with no guild experience, this is just a taste of things to come and the absolute incentive to get involved in brawling, remembering that these summoners are useless when you don’t have gladiators.<br>
We are basically going to look at possible reach/stealth or tank/stealth combinations in each splinter. These can be further reinforced with shield support like Arkemis or a taunt tank like Coeurl Lurker to put together killer bloodlust line-ups.<br>

These are just some of the possible uses of gladiators in both ranked battles (with the conscript ruleset) and in brawls. Having more than one bloodlust monster in the same battle is going to be awesome and it will be a challenge when you don't have a clear strategy because your team can be wiped out at the blink of an eye!
