I agree completely. Curation right now is complete BS.  Using an autovoter to upvote whale content is currently the best "strategy"...

Curation should be about finding great unique content and not just be an award for upvoting whales.  Steemit is enough of a pyramid as is.

I mostly agree, although this part: *"Steemit is enough of a pyramid as is."* I don't think this is accurate. Steem payments are guaranteed by the protocol, it's only the free-market value of those rewards that can fluctuate. It's risky, but not a pyramid.
