Viewing a response to: @sambillingham/finally-comments-moderate-comment-threads-hide-delete
My question is if by using your app I hide some comments which were made on my posts by some other account - would they be hidden if I see that post on steemit, busy, esteem etc or not?

No. You can not control how another website or interface will show comments on the blockchain. Each website controls how they display blockchain data. When embedding a comments thread using FinallyComments on a website the owner of that thread has the ability to moderate the comments. Moderation is strickly linked to FinallyComments and is therefore only viewed when looking at data through the FinallyComments website or embed.

It is still early days for this product and I have not written full documentation/guides yet. if you read through the post releases at https://finallycomments.com/#news it ill give you a better understanding. in a nutshell finally comments is to be used by embedding it into your own blog or website.
