Interacting is hard. I'm sure you've heard talks in front of an audience of a couple hundred or more and half an hour is set aside for interaction and the audience is asked whether they have any questions ... They don't. No questions. Utter silence ... Horrible ... That can happen even if the theme is relevant and the speaker is good ... but was not *provocative* enough.

Ive had that more than so often in medical lectures where different cultures were blending, but questionswise they were not blending if you know what i mean ;)) But yeah, The speaker who was inviting enough and already pulling people in during his lecture, will be the one that most likely that created the perfect setting for questions. provocative....yeah maybe indeed that is also something that will trigger questions...good one!
