I am an active user of Steem platform since March 2018. I don't like downvoting if it has not become very essential. I have downvoted only on two or three occasions only, when I was forced to do so. These days, I am receiving downvote from some insignificant accounts who hold not much SP and haven't contributed much on this platforms. For example I was downvote today by @jertrasoim and @grena.

What should I do with them?

If its a bot that just downvotes for no reason (not an anti spam bot) then downvote them to hell. There are at least a couple of these downvoting all sorts of posts for no reason. A real person behind non bot accounts may just not like your post. I don't think they should downvote all your vote value away unless it's for a good reason.

Same here you cannot downvote someone who does not vote. It is also not said they cannot harm you. Mention their names in a post of yours and ask for the reason or say the reason if you know it. I have one downvoting to ask for attention according to his account. I gave the attention but sofar no response.
