Muy buen inicio de semana, amigos de hive. Es un gusto saludarlos a todos, en está linda comunidad donde con gusto compartimos nuestras obras y formamos parte de las experiencias de otros artistas. Me complace saber que somos piezas de un todo, como unas abejitas trabajadoras.
A todos nos cuesta producir nuestro arte y nos complace mostrar lo que hacemos. Yo pinto porque amo lo que hago y me gusta colaborar en ocasiones y pintar algo que me han pedido.
Este es un mural que me pidieron pintar y me gustó colaborar con una fundación para la mujer de mi pueblo, como un homenaje a mujeres como figuras históricas y que actualmente trabajan en movimientos sociales.

Very good start to the week, hive friends. It is a pleasure to greet you all, in this beautiful community where we gladly share our works and are part of the experiences of other artists. I am pleased to know that we are pieces of a whole, like hard-working bees.
We all have a hard time producing our art and we are happy to show what we do. I paint because I love what I do and I like to collaborate on occasions and paint something that has been asked of me.
This is a mural that I was asked to paint and I liked collaborating with a foundation for women in my town, as a tribute to women as historical figures and who currently work in social movements.

Se me indicó un modelo que tenía que pintar y tuve una idea de buscar en la internet para mejorar un poco el diseño. Era una idea que no había visto antes y me gustó la idea de poner todas estas ideas sobre este lienzo rosa. Me encontré con una pared bastante rústica pero empecé a trazar las líneas sirviéndole de un buen borrador y un lápiz 2B. Se me encargó hacer unas letras bastante estilizadas y trabajé bastante en ellas para hacerlas de manera uniforme.

I was given a model that I had to paint and I had an idea to search the internet to improve the design a little. It was an idea I hadn't seen before and I liked the idea of putting all these ideas on this pink canvas. I found a fairly rustic wall but I started to draw the lines using a good eraser and a 2B pencil. I was tasked with making some fairly stylized letters and I worked quite a bit on them to make them uniform.

Para pintar la piel solo me entregaron 3 colores (avellana, blanco y negro) y con ellos fui formando poco a poco todos los parches de color para formar el rostro. Las letras por otro lado las pinté en color lila.

Después de que secara la pintura empecé a pegar discos de vinilo en el lugar donde debía ir el afro, completando de esta manera el mural especial para las Mujeres Heroicas. NOTA: Ningún disco de vinilo en buen estado fue arruinado durante la elaboración de este mural.
Estos discos viejos fueron reunidos por los miembros de la fundación y eran originales y de música de antaño, pero lamentablemente ya no servían por el mal almacenamiento.

After the paint dried I began to glue vinyl records in the place where the afro should go, thus completing the special mural for the Heroic Women. NOTE: No vinyl records in good condition were ruined during the making of this mural.
These old records were collected by the members of the foundation and were original and of old music, but unfortunately they were no longer useful due to poor storage.

Como toque final para terminar este dibujo añadí unas líneas blancas a las letras, muy necesarias para resaltar el color lila sobre el rosa fuerte. Estoy muy contenta de ir dejando mi huella en lugares públicos, es una oportunidad muy buena para crecer y publicitar mi trabajo en un lugar donde muchas personas pasan a diario.

Estoy muy agradecida con esta comunidad que siempre recibe a los artistas con las manos abiertas y siempre ha sido un lugar grato donde socializar.

As a final touch to finish this drawing I added some white lines to the letters, very necessary to highlight the lilac color over the hot pink. I am very happy to be leaving my mark in public places, it is a very good opportunity to grow and advertise my work in a place where many people pass by every day.

I am very grateful to this community that always welcomes artists with open hands and has always been a pleasant place to socialize.
