Siempre es un gusto saludarlos porque no me canso de compartir con ustedes y de aprender muchas cosas que aún no sé aplicar a la hora de dibujar. He tenido una semana artísticamente difícil porque me hallaba en un callejón sin salida, un callejón al que no quería entrar. ¿Cuál es ese callejón que me daba tanto miedo? Para mí es un lugar en donde está mi antagonista con rostro de hombre y mucha oscuridad rodeando todo.
Cuando voy a pintar rostros masculinos siempre tropiezo y no hallo por donde escapar y si, ya sé que te estoy describiendo mi historia de terror llena de drama, peo es que así me siento… atrapada.

Para esta semana de Splinterland elegí un personaje masculino para intentar romper el hielo y lo único que hice fue borrar muchas veces mis líneas porque no me convencían. Pero al fin logré un tipo de rostro agradable pero desconfiado, aferrándose a sus amadas herramientas. Me gustó mucho este personaje llamado, Pelacor Mercenary, porque su nombre es muy ambiguo y a mucho que pensar porque su nombre sugiere una profesión más sangrienta aunque su apariencia se puede decir que es bastante mas cercana a la de un artesano.

It's always a pleasure to greet you because I never tire of sharing with you and learning many things that I still don't know how to apply when drawing. I've had a difficult week artistically because I was at a dead end, an alley I didn't want to enter. What is that alley that scared me so much? For me it is a place where my antagonist with the face of a man is and a lot of darkness surrounds everything.
When I go to paint male faces I always stumble and I can't find a way to escape and yes, I know I'm describing my horror story full of drama, but that's how I feel... trapped.

For this week of Splinterland I chose a male character to try to break the ice and all I did was delete my lines many times because they didn't convince me. But at last I got a nice but suspicious type of face, clinging to his beloved tools. I really liked this character called, Pelacor Mercenary, because his name is very ambiguous and a lot to think about because his name suggests a bloodier profession, although his appearance can be said to be much closer to that of a craftsman.

A este punto he empezado a profundizar un poco intentando decidir que voy a hacer con la piel y los detalles que dan vida a un rostro.

Acá me he dado gusto pintando el cabello con un par de pinceles que he conseguido que me han enamorado así que le dediqué alrededor de dos horas haciendo pequeños detalles.

Bueno amigos, no se en que punto este personaje se empezó a parecer a Ryan Reinolds, pero esa no era mi intención. Ya estaba cansada y empecé a adelantar un pontón de detalles sin documentar, cosa de la que ahora me arrepiento.
</div>

Hoy estoy contenta con todos los avances que he tenido pero tengo la sensación de que no es suficiente, por lo que me estoy tomando un cursillo de como dibujar pieles y el uso adecuado de una paleta de colores.
