<html> <p>In these most recent times, with the Covid virus causing major disruptions within many aspects of our lives worldwide, what we DON'T need, is some (non-essential) Governor or <em>other</em> elected official labeling 'you' or 'I' as "<em>NON-ESSENTIAL</em>"...</p> <div class="pull-left">>https://images.hive.blog/DQmWAVsZwMmgxyLpT4DgSQfCKGtmqsmqneACrXjHoBeaoKi/image.png<br/></div> <p>Do 'you' consider yourself a non-essential human being? <em>I don't.</em></p> <p>Words ARE important, regardless o f the current trend by some extremist groups trying to convince the masses, that words don't matter much within the grand scope of things.</p> <p><em><strong>'Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me'</strong></em> is an old adage that sounds good on the surface, but is certainly <em>untrue</em> in reality.</p> <p>Words, can HURT...perhaps not physically, yet they can surely incite a dangerous physical outcome. There are plenty of examples from the past to reference where, words led to acts of violence and despair.</p> <p>'Great' examples would be the many times in history, that the hateful words of a handful of individuals spread like the <em>disease it is</em> to infect the mind and heart of <em>many</em>, who carried those angry, hateful words as a banner of <em>war</em>. Thus, followed by an attack and slaughter of numerous, innocent lives.</p> <p>Of course...Hitler and the Nazi party comes to mind. Unfortunately...there have been 'too' many genocides similar to the latter, throughout world history.</p> <p>Most notable mass attacks against a relatively <em>defenseless</em> people culminating in maiming and death, derived from an oratory source.</p> <div class="text-center">https://images.hive.blog/DQmVe6s6oVGzUdh3ZDtJRuAdd6rjPTxnDuqPUmLBSwuXzGf/image.png<br/></div> <p>Things have not changed much in this regard over time. Today, it seems, we have more "<em>soft attacks</em>" being perpetrated upon us by malevolent groups and individuals; using WORDS to covertly affect a societal change that fits their particular agenda.</p> <p>An example would be, the widespread use of the word 'Nazi' to describe anyone or any group that does not comply to the wishes and demands of another... It has become so apparent a tactic. It <em>also</em> has become evident, that this slanderous accusatory speech, reeks as a weapon of "projection" (In phycological terms) </p> <p>The 'accusers' are acting and appearing more like that of which they are accusing 'others' to be...</p> <p>Can you imagine 'Peace Activists' storming a military facility with guns, tanks and missiles ablaze slaughtering every human in sight, while chanting "No More War"...!?!?!?</p> <p>Paints a fairly ridiculous picture in mind; doesn't it?</p> <p>Yet...our world 'has' become crazy enough for me to imagine such a scenario; though I <em>hope</em> not.</p> <div class="text-center">https://images.hive.blog/DQmSNYZKPM2bmzUagjmauo4MSdhR7reDsA5SfWAxZ1vdqDX/image.png<br/></div> <p>Which brings me back to the word..."Non-Essential" and how often it is presently being used, along with 'how' it is being used to describe some of us...and...perhaps making some feel <em>injured</em> in a <em>psychological</em> sense.</p> <p>Its become apparent that there exists many citizens who not only are suffering financial hardship, along with the fear and anxiety, which comes along with being barred from employment, they are also suffering under the designated 'label' of being a "non-essential".</p> <p>Over time...as this Covid-19 virus scare lingers and our <em>so-called</em> 'leaders' act in a manner that diminishes the average persons sense of 'self-worth', this labeling...this <em>word</em> is bound to further add to the suffering of <em>many</em>...</p> <p>In closing... I think the world would be better off, if we put everyone that has reached the age of 16 name in a random generator, used that to replace all the current politicians, from the local elected dog catcher all the way to the president.
