You've probably figured this out by now, but it had nothing to do with posting using hive.blog. 

The problem was that you posted to a specific community: one for posts about software work related to Hive. Your post was not related to that topic, and some moderator therefore muted as being off-topic (that's what they are supposed to do as moderators). Ideally they would have also left a comment to let you know why they muted your post.
