# Baldurs Gate 3 Review after 100+ Hours! (Spoiler Free Tactics)

Hello everyone, I'm playing baldurs gate 3 and I've finished 100 hours. I even finished the game itself. but I didn't play in the hardest mode. I also didn't do many side quests. but despite this, I learned a lot of things while progressing in the side quests and the main story.
Now I will share these learnings with you.


#  1. Don't Try to Save Potions and Scrolls.
As in other games, when I found a potion or a scroll in this game, I started to keep it and not use it. but I soon learned that this was not the right decision because scrolls started to come out of almost every library. every vendor started to sell several types of potions and similar disposable items. that's why I accumulated a lot of unnecessary potions. There was no need for that.

# 2. Use the Revivify Scroll Carefully Here's Why:

This scroll is not available from every vendor. If a teammate has died and you want to bring them back to life, you'll need it. Unless of course you have a cleric character like Shadowhart. Because when cleric characters reach level 5, their 3rd level slots open. and they can cast this spell 2 times in long rest.
So to summarize: use your revivify scrolls carefully and accumulate them until your cleric character reaches level 5.

# 3. Spellcaster characters can change their spells at any time (except in combat)

That's why they're incredibly powerful. A warlock is stronger than ever. A cleric and especially a wizard... They become incredibly powerful. You can teach the scrolls you find to your wizard by pressing K if you are playing on a computer. That way you can cast them later on whenever you want. You can cast these spells. You just need to spend 50 gold per spell level. Which is very funny and cheap money.

And in addition to that, let's say your teammate died but you didn't prepare the reviviy spell with your cleric character at that moment. Now, after the battle is over, if you enter the character tab and press the K key or enter the spellcasting section, that is, the spelbook section, you can directly change it and save the dead character.

# 4. Multiclass requirements have been removed so you can make amazing combinations and here are some of my suggestions:

The paladin class is the most melee damage dealing character in the game. Because you can throw smite. then you need to get level 2 paladin. so the smite feature will be unlocked. thanks to divine smite, you will be able to add +2d8 dice radiant damage to your hits.
Afterwards, you can get level from war cleric for example without having to meet any obligation in any way. So when you miss, you can also add the war cleric's feature of adding +10 to your attack rolls. As if that wasn't enough, you will also have extra spell slots because you are a fullcaster. this will mean more smite for you. thanks to all these, your character will hit like a cannon but it will not be glass. because paladins are heavy armor profficient.

In addition, you can do incredible arrow damage with a combination of Ranger + Rouge and Fighter. This is how I developed a very good archer, especially with the gloomstalker ranger level 3 and the rouge level 2 + fighter level 2. He was doing better damage than I expected and he can do it reliably.

# 5.Try to use the environment and ALL of your actions/bonus actions

In Baldurs gate 3 there is something like this, the things in the environment affect you a lot. For example, if you see an oil barrel, you can throw a firebolt at it and do crazy damage to many enemies at the same time. 
Even if there's a fire on the ground or a candle is burning, you can use the dive action to ignite your weapon. This way you'll deal extra damage for free.

However, if you throw a potion on your friends' heads, you'll revive them. This makes a lot of sense if you want to revive them before their turn comes. Especially if you don't have a scroll and someone in the team is throwing a death saving throw, you can definitely use this tactic.

You will also see a lot of environmental factors in the game. For example, the person who is wet will take more lightening damage but less fire damage.
