**MELTED PUMPKIN WITH COCONUT MILK RECIPE**

Hello guys..
This is my first time to participating in the Plant Power Cooking Challenge #plantbased initiated by @justinparke. And I chose to make pumpkin as the main ingredient. I really exited for that.

Pumpkin is one of the most popular foodstuffs in Indonesia. Pumpkin is easy to find in the market and practical in the process of becoming a very delicious culinary.

Pumpkin processing is also not difficult, usually during Ramadan we often find pumpkins as the main ingredient in making 'Kolak'.
Not only being 'Kolak', pumpkin can also be used as a variety of vegetables that are delicious and nutritious for the body.

There are several vegetable dishes whose main ingredient is pumpkin. Like 'Waluh' vegetables, usually these vegetables become friends eating with rice. 'Waluh' vegetables are usually a mixture of pumpkin and spinach cooked with garlic and shallots. The distinctive sweetness comes from the pumpkin.

But forget about waluh vegetables and ‘Kolak’ there are dishes that we can serve in processing pumpkin as the main ingredient.
Like making 'Talam Labu' or ‘Melted Pumpkin Bowl’ which tastes sweet and suitable as a meal for breaking the fast.

Here's a recipe in making 'Talam Labu Lumer' (Melted Pumpkin)


Ingredients:

Pumpkin layer:
- 200gr pumpkin
- 200gr Coconut Milk (medium viscosity)
- 100gr Sugar
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1 pandanus leaf
- 300 ml of water
- 50gr tapioca
- 2 tsp rice flour

Coconut milk coating:
- 300ml thick coconut milk
- 25gr cornstarch
- 1 pandanus leaf

How to make 'Talam Labu Lumer':

- Create a layer of pumpkin: pumpkin + coconut milk + sugar, puree with a blender. Put in a saucepan, boil with water until boiling. Mix rice flour and all purpose flour with water, pinch salt. Put into pumpkin, stir until mature.

- Coconut milk layer ingredients: cook coconut milk until boiling, then put tapioca flour, rice flour and cornstarch into coconut milk. Cook until thickened, dont forget to enter pandan leaves.

- Pour the pumpkin layer into the bowl on the bottom layer, then pour the coconut milk layer on the top layer.

- Put in the refrigerator until cool
- Once cold, the dish is ready to be served

Talam pumpkin melt is suitable to be a meal when breaking the fast, because the sweet and fresh taste is suitable to pamper the tongue after fasting all day.

Labu kuning adalah salah satu bahan makanan yang cukup populer di Indonesia. Labu kuning mudah ditemukan di pasaran dan praktis di olah menjadi kuliner yang sangat lezat.

Pengolahan Labu kuning juga tidak begitu sulit, biasanya pda saat Bulan Ramadhan kita sering menjumpai labu kuning dijadikan bahan utama dalam membuat ‘Kolak’.
Tak hanya menjadi ‘Kolak’, labu kuning juga dapat dijadikan berbagai sayuran yang lezat dan bergizi baik untuk tubuh.

Ada beberapa hidangan sayuran yang bahan utamanya adalah labu kuning. Seperti sayuran ‘Waluh’, biasanya sayuran ini menjadi teman makan nasi. Sayuran ‘Waluh’ biasanya campuran antara labu kuning dengan sayur bayam yang dimasak bersama bawang putih dan bawang merah yang ditumis. Rasa manis yang khas berasal dari labu kuning.

Tapi lupakan tentang sayuran waluh, ada hidangan yang bisa kita sajikan dalam mengolah labu kuning sebagai bahan utama.
Seperti membuat ‘Talam Labu’ yang rasanya manis dan cocok sebagai santapan untuk berbuka puasa.

Berikut resep dalam membuat ‘Talam Labu’



Ingredients:

Bahan lapis labu:
- 200gr Labu kuning yang sudah dikukus
- 200gr Santan (kekentalan sedang)
- 100gr Gula
- 1/2 tsp Garam
- 1 daun pandan
- 300 ml air
- 50gr tapioka
- 2 tsp tepung beras

Bahan lapisan santan:
- 300ml santan kental
- 25gr maizena
- 1 daun pandan

Cara membuat ‘Talam Labu Lumer’:

1. Buat lapisan labu: labu + santan + gula haluskan dengan blender. Masukkan kedalam panci, rebus dengan air hingga mendidih. Beri sedikit garam. Masukkan adonan tepung beras dan tepung terigu kedalam labu yang telah dimasak. 




2. Bahan lapisan santan: masak santan hingga mendidih, kemudian masukkan tepung tapioka, tepung beras dan maizena kedalam santan. Masak hingga mengental, jangan lupa masukkan daun pandan.


3. Tuangkan lapisan labu kedalam mangkuk pada lapisan bawah, kemudian tuangkan lapisan santan pada lapisan atas.


4. Masukkan kedalam kulkas hingga dingin

5. Setelah dingin, hidangan siap disajikan


Talam labu lumer ini cocok menjadi santapan saat berbuka puasa, karena rasa yang manis dan segar cocok untuk memanjakan lidah setelah berpuasa seharian.
