La canción que seleccionamos pertenece al álbum "Cóctel" del año 1993, uno de los discos más populares de **Miguel Mateos** y uno de mis favoritos de su discografia. 📀 En ese disco están incluidos temas como "Obsesión", "Mi sombra en la Pared" y "Atado a un Sentimiento" que sonaron muchísimo en las estaciones de radio junto a "Cuando Seas Grande". Todas estas canciones fueron muy emblemáticas del artista, tanto que nombrarlo era darle play a cualquiera de estas en tu cabeza 🎧. A mediados de los noventas mi residencia estaba en la ciudad de **Puerto La Cruz** (Anzoátegui - Venezuela), en aquel entonces habían muchas bandas de rock y pop muy activas en esa ciudad y casi todas incluían una de esas canciones de Mateos en su repertorio.

Conocí la musica de **Miguel Mateos** por mi amigo **Robert**, un sujeto que conocí en la universidad y que amaba el rock en español; "Baron Rojo", "Ratas Blancas", "Enanitos Verdes", "Prisoneros", "Soda Estéreo"... eran parte de su repertorio incluyendo a Mateos, pero este último era uno de sus favoritos 🌟. Así que en las tardes en su residencia, acompañados de un cigarrillo y un vaso de cocacola, nos adentrabamos en la musica de sus artistas favoritos y el disco **Cóctel** me enganchó por muchísimo tiempo. Mateos fue un artista muy prolífico que nos dejó  9 álbumes de estudio, 3 en vivo y una larga lista de sencillos en su carrera. Todo su material discográfico es de colección 👑.</div><br>

"Cuando Seas Grande" es una canción que te identifica automáticamente en tu adolesencia, ya que estas viviendo una etapa de transformacion y deseos de libertad; las salidas, los amigos, el estilo de vestir, tu cabello... todo representa para tí una lista de ingredientes para auto diseñarte y reinventarte en sintonía con tus impulsos y emociones. El que vas a hacer cuando seas grande es en lo último que piensas cuando estas viviendo a límite. En la actualidad ya no la veo como una cancion que me identifique, ya que a mis 46 😝 la aventura es otra, pero ese estilo a lo Bruce Springsteen me fascina y la rola "rockanrolera" si que me atrae y me divierte muchísimo.</div> <br>

La música de Mateos encierra muchos momentos ordinarios y extraordinarios de una etapa de mi vida personal, "Cuando Seas Grande" me proyecta hacia capítulos que dejaron huella en mi; rostros, calles, experiencias... hay muchas cosas vividas encapsuladas en esa canción 💊 .</div>

Hermano!! Que gustazo haber compartido contigo ese tema tan emblemático para nuestra generación. Los que vivimos esos tiempos (yo era un adolescente), sabemos el sentimiento que nos da esa canción. Hola Jesús, gracias por darte una vuelta por aquí. Pues si, el Bajo Eléctrico es mi instrumento base, me gusta muchísimo su función rítmica y armónica dentro de una canción, el peso y la profundidad que llega alcanzar cualquier obra con su sonido es algo que me me atrae de él. A pesar de que tengo años tocando el Bajo aún tengo mucho que aprender y me gusta compartir experiencias con otros bajistas, ya que el bajo te permite ser tu mismo y darle una parte de ti a la canción que intérpretes. Es algo interesante de ese instrumento ☺️.

Creo que esta canción también ha formado parte del soundtrack de mi vida, pero de forma involuntaria, porque esta es de esas canciones que escuchas mucho en la radio o en muchos sitios, termina por ser amada. 

Mi papá también vivió en Puerto la Cruz un tiempo, y creo que sí me mencionó esos movimientos de música que sitas aquí en la narración de tus experiencias.
