There was a back door and a big Gate in our compound so I had a sound at the back door "*Gbowye*" in next thing I had was Men calling themselves *"mopol mopol"* and that was the name armed robbers usually called themselves when they come to Rob the area so immediately I became more scared and nervous. I was so nervous that I didn't remember that I should put off the light in my room, I totally forgot that should wear my clothes, I was thinking what to do because I had no money to give them and most times when they come and there is no money they will beat hell out of the person so at this point I didn't know what will happen to me. I sat down on the floor crossed my two legs and started praying, i heard people crying as they were robbing from one room to another I was becoming more scared and nervous because I knew they will finally get to my own room, the only thing I could do also keep on praying. Just a room before my room was a young lady like me who was living alone I became much afraid when I heard sounds that indicated that they were raping her, I started begging God to protect my private part, that was funny but that is all I could do at that moment because I don't know how to explain such incidents if it happens to me. So during the process one of my neighbor sneaked out through his window and ran to the nearest police station immediately the armed robbers noticed that someone have left the compound they assumed that someone might have gone to call the police to the left without entering my room. It was like a miracle to me. I was so nervous that even when my neighbor came into the compound with some policemen and they were calling me to come out I couldn't differentiate between my neighbors voice and that of the armed robbers they have to break my door to see if I'm still alive and I started screaming *"please don't hurt me please don't hurt me"* my neighbor now said it is me your neighbor and the policeman no one is hurting you. It took me months to recover from the shock, at some point i visited the doctor and was placed on sedation to see if i can catch some sleep at night, from that day i never left my window open for any reason, it wasn't an easy situation to manage.
