Greetings friends of #hive, I hope you are well and have a beautiful and blessed week.

Today I share with you my visit to the "monument of Cumaná", (Cumaná is the capital of the state of Sucre, and is located at the entrance of the Gulf of Cariaco, next to the mouth of the Manzanares River; it is one of the first cities founded by the Spaniards in America);  A very beautiful sector of the city located on the perimeter avenue, is the obligatory stop for cyclists and athletes to take pictures and rest; on my walk I observed several people exercising and walking to take advantage of the morning sun and the sea breeze, also a group of fishermen in their fishing boats.

Saludos amigos de #hive, deseo se encuentren bien y tengan una hermosa y bendecida semana.

Hoy les comparto mi visita al "monumento de Cumaná", (Cumaná es la capital del estado Sucre, y se ubica en la entrada del Golfo de Cariaco, junto a la desembocadura del Río Manzanares; es una de las primeras ciudades fundadas por los españoles en América);  un sector muy hermoso de la ciudad ubicado en la avenida perimetral, es la parada obligada de ciclistas y deportistas para tomarse fotos y descansar; en mi paseo observé a varias personas haciendo ejercicios y caminatas para aprovechar el sol de a mañana y la brisa marina, además un grupo de pescadores en sus peñeros.

It receives this name "the monument" by the statues of the Monk and the Indian (Information provided by an officer of the coast guard), these statues are currently part of the offices of the coast guard, is a relevant monument and reference for the city, in the cultural and sporting events of great magnitude, being an outdoor space and close to the beach offers a beautiful night view, and the perfect place to share and enjoy with friends.

Recibe este nombre "el monumento"  por las estatuas del Monje y el Indio ( Información suministrada por un oficial de la guardia costera), estas estatuas actualmente forman parte de las oficinas de la guardia costera; es un monumento  relevante y  de referencia para la cuidad, en el se realizan eventos culturales y deportivos de gran magnitud, por ser un espacio al aire libre y cercano a la playa ofrece una visión nocturna muy hermosa, y el lugar perfecto para compartir y disfrutar con amigos.

A few years ago it was remodeled and new elements were added; such as light poles with a very striking design, construction of walls to sit and watch the sea closely and widening of the road, this sector is very visited in the morning and afternoon by tourists and inhabitants of the city to take pictures of the sunsets and the beautiful scenery.

Hace pocos años fue remodelado y añadieron nuevos elementos;  como postes de luz con un diseño muy llamativo, construcción de muros para sentarse y observar de cerca el mar y  ampliación de la vía,  este sector es muy visitado en hora de la mañana y la tarde por turistas y habitantes de la ciudad para tomar fotos de los atardeceres y el bello paisaje.

I had the opportunity to photograph an old boat, first I was very far away and it was a little difficult to take, then I advanced a little more towards the beach and I got better pictures of the boat and I could even read its name, also some pelicans in full flight, I must say that my visit to this place was very pleasant and relaxing, I had a long time without going out for health reasons, this outing was wonderful and healthy, I enjoyed the beautiful view of the sea, the breeze and the beautiful landscape that the sector offers.

Tuve la oportunidad de fotografiar un viejo barco, primero estaba muy lejos y era un poco difícil la toma, luego avancé un poco más hacía la playa y obtuve mejores fotografías del barco y hasta pude leer su nombre, también unos pelícanos e pleno vuelo, debo decir que mi visita a este lugar fue muy agradable y relajante, tenía mucho tiempo sin salir por motivos de salud, esta salida fue maravillosa y saludable, disfruté la bella vista del mar, la brisa y el hermoso paisaje que el sector ofrece.

On the other side of the avenue there are several residential complexes and hotels; it is the main artery of the city and communicates with different municipalities and the state of Anzoátegui.

Se nota que fue muy temprano por la mañana cuando el sol no está tan implacable.

Eso me imaginé por la luz de las fotos. He tomado fotos ahí al medio día y en la tarde y se ve diferente.  

Según los expertos es la mejor hora para tomar las fotografías, así que bien que tengas la oportunidad de tomarlas a esa hora.

Hi @taliakerch, the city of Cumana is one of the first founded by the Spanish in the American continent, it has a privileged location, its coasts are bathed by the beautiful Caribbean Sea, it is a city rich in traditions and historical sites that have much to tell.
