<p>Hello, internet people! Today I'm very happy because my favourite singer has just released his first album and in 16 years of artistic career with Super Junior, as a solo artist he had only been allowed to release mini albums (4 to five songs) and this is the first time that he's been left alone in the studio to record a full album and the truth is that I loved it from the the promotion of the disc. I'll break down this work of art below to make my point.

Hoy estoy muy feliz porque mi cantante preferido acaba de lanzar su primer álbum, y es que en 16 años de carrera artística con Super Junior, como solista solo le habían dejado sacar mini albunes (de 4 a cinco canciones) y esta es la primera vez que le dejan el estudio a él solo para grabar un disco completo, y la verdad es que desde el muestrario que pre-lanzaron ya lo amé. A continuación desglosaré esta obra de arte para que entiendan de que hablo.</p></div>

<p>Yesung has become my favourite singer because he is the opposite of a conventional singer, he has a prodigious voice (one of the three best in South Korea according to South Korean awards) and he is also an art lover in all his presentations (musical, plastic and scenic), in fact his Youtube channel is about art, because of this he has a more bohemian and beautiful vision of music and expresses it through his work, he is not a fan of making music a product and although he sells his music (which is logical to take what he invests, after all it is a job) he doesn't make it a mere product, it is art.</p></div>
>Yesung se ha vuelto mi cantante preferido porque es todo lo contrario a un cantante convencional, tiene una voz prodigiosa (de las tres mejores de Corea del Sur según premiaciones del país) y además es un amante del arte en toda sus presentaciones (musical, plástica y escénica), de hecho su canal de Youtube es de arte, debido a esto tiene una visión más bohemia y hermosa de la música y lo expresa a través de sus trabajos, no es fan de hacer de la música un producto, y si bien vende su música (lo cual es lógico para tomar lo que invierte, después de todo es un trabajo) no la vuelve un mero producto, es arte.

<p>I think this is one of his best works because he put his whole personality into it. With Super Junior, Yesung is part of a more "commercial" concept and I make inverted commas because Super Junior, despite making kpop, always innovates and mixes sounds, they are always experimenting new grounds and not for nothing they are "The Kings of kpop", however, Yesung's vision of a solo artist is far away from the concept of kpop, Yesung as a solo artist in fact does not make Kpop. His works always explore his favourite genres of music that are unconventional to most people, for example, he believes that the best music was made in the 80's, so many of his songs have influences from this era, and Sensory Flows was no exception.</p></div>
>Este me parece que es de sus mejores trabajos porque volcó al completo su personalidad en él. Con Super Junior, Yesung es parte de un concepto un poco más "comercial" y hago comillas porque realmente Super Junior, pese a hacer kpop, siempre innova y hace mezclas de sonidos, siempre están experimentando nuevos terrenos y no por nada son "Los Reyes del kpop", sin embargo, la visión de Yesung de solista está muy alejada del concepto del kpop, Yesung como solista de hecho no hace Kpop. Sus trabajos siempre exploran sus géneros musicales preferidos y que son poco convencionales para la la mayoría de las personas, por ejemplo, él es del pensamiento que la mejor música se hizo en los 80's, por lo que muchas de sus canciones tienen influencias de esta época, y <em>Sensory Flows</em> no fue la excepción.

<p>Yesung likes rock, jazz, 80's music, aesthetic music, opera, classical movements, soul, etc, are musical genres that he explores in his works, in the case of "Sensory Flows" is present the Aesthetic music and the influence of the 80's music, also the concept that handles in the promotional photos (that you have seen throughout the post) and in the MV of the main sigle make reference to the rock of that time, in fact the MV is centered in the 80's and the composition is great.

>A Yesung le gusta el rock, el jazz, la música de los 80's, la música aesthetic, la ópera, los movimientos clásicos, el soul, etc, son géneros musicales que explora es sus trabajos, en el caso de "Sensory Flows" está presente la música Aesthetic y la influencia de la música de los 80's, además el concepto que maneja en las fotos promocionales (que han visto a lo largo del post) y en el MV del sigle principal hacen referencia al rock de esa época, de hecho el MV se centra en los 80's y la composición es genial.

<p>The song has quite romantic and beautiful lyrics, it talks about how that special person got into his heart by doing "small things" (small Thing is the name of the song). The concept of the video, as I mentioned before, is from the 80's, Yesung is a young bohemian vocalist of a band who meets a girl who seems to be a musician just like him, so they hit it off quite well.
>La canción tiene una letra bastante romántica y bonita, habla de cómo esa persona especial se fue metiendo en su corazón haciendo "pequeñas cosas" (small Thing es el nombre de la canción). El concepto del video como ya mencioné, es de la época de los 80´s, Yesung es un joven bohemio vocalista de una banda que conoce a una chica que parece ser músico igual que él, así que congenian bastante bien.</p></div>

<p>The colour palette is varied and beautiful, monochromatic and luminous outdoors with a little cyan filter, while indoors it is warm and colourful. The shots are varied too, close-ups, aerial shots, split-screen in thirds with paper cut-outs... this MV, as much as the song and the album itself, is a work of art.</p></div>
>La paleta de colores es variopinta y hermosa, monocromática y luminosa en exteriores con un filtro un poco cian, mientras que en interiores es cálido y colorido. Los planos son variados también, cerrados con acercamientos, aéreos, en pantalla dividida en tercios con recortes de papel... este MV, tanto como la canción y el álbum en si, es una obra de arte.

<p>So far my favourite songs on the album (it's really hard to choose) are Bear Hug and Together. Both have beautiful melodies (especially Bear Hug) and the lyrics are beautiful, talking about the performer being his girl's support and strength and giving her advice on how to overcome her problems.
>Por ahora mis canciones preferidas del álbum (en verdad es difícil elegir) son Bear Hug y Together. Ambas tiene melodías hermosas (sobre todo Bear Hug) y la letra es hermosa, habla de que el interprete será el apoyo y fortaleza de su chica y le da consejos sobre como sobreponerse a sus problemas.</p></div>

<p>But the more I think about each song individually, I can't help but think that they are all my favourites, since each one has something that fascinates me, the melodies of most of them are impressive, in terms of melody I'm in love with Moment and Together.</p></div>

<p>I literally love all the songs on each mini album of Yesung, of course some I like more than others, but in the case of Sensory Flows, even if I point out favourites, every time I listen to the album (while I'm writing this post) I realise that every song is a work of art and that when I think I have a favourite, the other one comes on and I like it on the same level as the previous one 🤣🤣🤣.

>Literalmente amo todas las canciones de cada mini álbum de Yesung, claro que algunas me gustan más que otras, pero en el caso de Sensory Flows, aunque señale preferidas, a cada momento que oigo el álbum (mientras hago este post) me voy dando cuenta de que todas las canciones son una obra de arte y que cuando creo tener una preferida, se reproduce la otra y me gusta al mismo nivel que la anterior. 🤣🤣🤣
