Greetings to you all in this great community @diyhub I hope you are doing great and having good time at your respective places, it's a beautiful day out here and I will like to share with you the cutting and sewing process of this simple card and coin wallet with side zipper and flip cover to secure the items in it using pieces of left over fabric.

Today, I thought I should share this simple wallet I recently made with you all for the purpose of those who would want to go out with their cards and coin, these items are small and needed a small wallet to be kept and secure inside for easy access and I hope you will like and appreciate the beautiful outcome

The good thing about this is that I used pieces of fabric scraps that I ought to have disposed or trashed out but i decided to put into good use to make something useful.

# Join me as I take you through the cutting and sewing process 

To start with, I measured and cut out 8 x 6" from one of the pieces of fabric with interfacing ironed on it, it was used to cut out a lining of same shape.

I measured and cut out another piece of 10 x 6" with interfacing for the flip cover then the edges were trimmed with a curve

I then place a zipper on the main fabric with the lining on the zipper and it was sewn together.

It was top stitched on and the lining was folded up and sewn to the other side of the zipper to make the zipper pocket

The flip cover was placed on the other side of the zipper and was sewn together before it was top stitched on the other side

The excess were trimmed off and i placed it on a lining to cut out same shape and it was placed together and sewn at the bottom leaving a small opening for it to be turned inside out

On the main fabric, I measured and marked 4" which was folded up with the lining on it

It was sewn together round from one side to the other

It was then turned inside out through the opening at the bottom of the wallet

After it was turned inside out, I top stitched round the edges and flip cover

Finally, I used my hand needle and thread to fix a pressing button to the middle of the wallet and this is the final outcome

The side zipper can be used to keep your coins with the zipper to secure it

The side with the flip cover can be used to keep your cards with the pressing button to secure it
