When we got off the plane, we went directly to an immigration line for tourists. They asked us the typical questions: 1. What are you coming to do in Maracaibo? How do I have a house here? They didn't bother much or ask for proof of Hotel, 2. How long are they going to stay? we responded a week! the reason of the visit? 3. Business and tourism 4. They asked us for information about where we would stay and my phone number Portuguese! ready... We were treated very kindly, a soldier told us: are you coming to visit? I speak Spanish and I answered yes, then he jokingly replied: "They came to Alaska." Another curious fact when we leave the airport we feel the "power of heat" hahaha🌏🍍🧭😎

</div><div class=pull-right>Algunas cosas curiosas cuando llegamos al aeropuerto! el avion estaba lleno sin embargo solo habiamos 5 turistas, el resto eran Venezolanos, al bajarnos del avion pasamos directamente a una fila de migracion para turistas, nos hicieron las preguntas tipicas 1. Que vienen hacer a Maracaibo?, como yo tengo una casa aqui no molestaron mucho ni pidieron comprobante de Hotel, 2. cuanto tiempo se van a quedar? respondimos una semana! motivo de la visita? 3. Negocios y turismo 4. Nos pidieron los datos de donde nos quedariamos y mi telefono Portugues! listo... Fuimos tratados muy amables un militar nos dice: que vienen de visita? yo hablo Español y le respondi que si entonces en forma de broma me responde: "Vinieron a Alaska". Otro dato curioso al salir del aire del aeropuerto sentimos el "poder del calor" jajajja🛬🏦</div>

I have friends from all over the world thanks to my profession and of course in Venezuela I took some Ornithology courses so I have many friends, I was accompanied, when we left the airport we were without lunch and Marwin my friend told me that he would take me to a place that They sell the best meat in Maracaibo and it was very close to the airport, it is called: "Garcia's stable" here you get it: (10.597637, -71.697511), renting a vehicle in Maracaibo is too expensive paying 500 dollars per week, so pay the My friend's meals were the least I could do and save money!🧭🍍🌏🤑

</div><div class=pull-right>Normalmente a Venezuela nos recomiendan andar con alguien para que nos lleven a los sitios de interes y sentirnos mas protegidos! yo tengo amigos por todos lados del mundo gracias a mi profesion y claro en Venezuela hice unos cursos de Ornitologia asi que tengo muchos amigos, estaba acompañado, al salir del aeropuerto estabamos sin almorzar y Marwin mi amigo me dice que me llevara a un sitio que venden la mejor carne de Maracaibo y estaba muy cerca del aeropuerto se llama: "El establo de Garcia" aqui lo consigues: (10.597637, -71.697511), alquilar un vehiculo en Maracaibo es demasiado costoso pagando 500 dolar por semana, por eso pagar las comidas de mi amigo era lo menos que podia hacer y asi ahorrar dinero!⛲🥘🧆</div>

</div><div class=pull-right>Al entrar al "Establo Rancho de Garcia" primero notamos que esta ambientado con un estilo antiguo de aquellos de peliculas de vaqueros o algo parecido, recien note que hay muchos animales sueltos como tortugas, pavo reales, guacamayas y loros de diferentes especies, normalmente en Portugal no vemos Guacamayas sueltas por el contraria son demasiado costosas, mi esposa quedo impresionada por la variedad de animales tropicales que habian en el rancho! y bueno tiene aire acondicionado que es muy apreciado pues hacia unos 45 grados creo y ya te muestro con un termometro mas adelante! 🥩🍍🚙</div>

<div class=pull-left>Here ends my first day in Maracaibo and Marwin took me to visit the monument "Mirador del lago" which is a specific viewpoint with an elevator in the center to which we paid 3 dollars to go up and admire the beautiful side of the night city, I read that it was one or the largest viewpoint in South America, here I was a little disappointed because I paid 6 dollars between my wife and I and when we got to the top... Nobody explained anything to us, they didn't welcome us... Strange thing because they have a bar and they need to attract the customer to spend! In short, we enjoyed the experience!

</div><div class=pull-right>Aqui termina mi primer dia en Maracaibo y es que Marwin me llevo a visitar el monumento "Mirador del lago" que es un mirador en concreto con un elevador en el centro el cual pagamos 3 dolares para subir y admirar el lado hermoso de la ciudad nocturna, lei que era uno o el mirador mas grande de sur america, aqui me quede un poco decepcionado porque pague 6dolar entre mi esposa y yo y cuando llegamos arriba... Nadie nos explico nada, no nos recibieron... Cosa extraña porque tienen un bar y necesitan atraer el cliente para gastar! en fin disfrutamos la experiencia!</div>

I even called my wife strange, right? Going out to eat in Maracaibo at night is safe, clearly you have to go to places where there are many restaurants, they do not recommend going to neighborhoods or walking alone through the dark streets! Something I saw was that many businesses were closed I imagine due to the economic situation, however a lot of people eating on the street!😎🏦🤯

</div><div class=pull-right>Otra pregunta interesante que tan segura es Maracaibo de noche? dejame decirte que vi policias por todos lados, en las calles, en las esquinas, en los sitios de interes turisticos! hasta le decia a mi mujer raro no? salir a comer en Maracaibo de noche es segura, claramente tienes que ir a los sitios donde hay muchos locales, no recomiendan ir a barrios o andar solo por las calles oscuras! algo que vi es que muchos negocios estaban cerrados imagino por la situacion economica sin embargo muchisima gente comiendo en la calle! ❌🛑💯</div>

For example, I spent 20 dollars for four people, here you see some of the typical foods of the city of Marabina, starting with the hotdog, which has a more American influence than anything else but adapted to be a high-calorie bomb, xD then we have the "tequeños and the pastelitos" are cheese rolls with flour, and lastly my favorite is the "patacon" which they make with green or yellow bananas, it is normally served like this with shredded meat, God!!!! soooooo good! They say that Maracaibo is the gastronomic capital of Venezuela for its great variety of dishes!🥟🍮🍺🥧
