Backstory: For the next 2 weeks, my college is taking a summer break. I'm working on my master's degree at a university that allows you to work at your own pace, which is awesome...during the breaks, though, instructors will not grade anything to help force the students to take time off, too...why? Because it's good to take a break. I hate it when other people tell me that I need a break. If I need a break, I'll take one on my own...it's learn at my own pace for goodness sakes!

Anyway, I can still access class material during the break and I can turn assignments in, they just won't get graded. Fine... I called the counselor/coach for my studies and asked if I could have her assign me another class. I currently have 2 in my "box" so to speak. She said she couldn't because I already had 2. Fine...I asked, how do I get another one. She said I'd have to finish a class. That was Monday. On Tuesday, I turned in 5 assignments, Wednesday, I turned in 4, yesterday I turned in 3, and I have one to turn in today. After that is a final that's 15 pages long, a PowerPoint presentation, and a video...I digress...

While we were talking about how fast I've been able to finish classes (my fastest up until this class was start to finish in 7 days), she asked if I could present to the student body how I'm able to get them done so fast. I tell her to go check out my YouTube video on how to write a research paper in a day. She looks it up and is aghast (shocked, not in horror)! She asked if she could share my video with all the students... really?! I get paid when people watch my videos...of course!

Come to find out, there are a lot of students wondering how to complete a course quickly. I told her if she would send me a list of frequently asked questions, I would make some more videos for her. I made a video for her explaining how I quickly finish classes (It's not available yet, my editor is working on it or I'd put the link here). Here's the gist:

- Type fast 
- Watch the videos in 1.5x-2.0x speed if the video player allows (YouTube does). 
- Go straight to the assignments and cut and paste the demand (what is required in the assignment) into a Word document. 
- Separate the parts of the assignment, then read what you have to read or watch what you have to watch using half the screen for Word and half for the reading/video. 
- Use the Ctrl+F combo to find the keywords within the reading that match the assignment. 
- Fill the Word document in. 
- Cut/paste into the assignment box, and submit. 
- Repeat 12-13 times depending on the class. Easy!

I'm fortunate that I type around 70-80 words a minute. I read/scan quickly, and I have many background stories. If a teacher gives an assignment with a word limit/page limit...tell a story that relates to the topic. It will usually allow for a quote from a source or two and the teacher doesn't know you from anyone else. In this way, you can make your story say anything. Assignments that say, "Share what you learned about...from the reading," I usually have to take the concept and pretend like I had never considered it before. Playing dumb when you're getting a college degree will help you a ton...in the right ways, of course. LOL
