Introduction Post - This is BRAIN CANDY 🍭🍬😊

###### Dear HIVE-Community!

This is our very first and introduction post. We are quite excited about this! 😃

We are Lavinia @elliptique and Steffi @ravenmus1c from Germany.

We both make music since we were children and although our musical influences are very different, we decided to come together for a project called **BRAIN CANDY**. 🍭

###### As we both like to listen and produce chilled music, we decided to make a channel focussing on relaxation, meditation, yoga, better concentration and any music, soundscapes and spoken words that help you calm down and escape the stress of everyday life.

##### Let us tell you a little more about us:

We are both professional video and graphic designers (well Lavina even more than Steffi), and we love doing it, so we also put a lot of work in our visuals which you will find amongst the tracks.

Lavinia can play many instruments which are perfect for making relaxing music.

Steffi has alot of experience in producing meditation music for professional YouTube channels. So she knows about brainwave entrainment techniques like binaural beats or isochronic tones.

These skills combined together were obviously leading to what we start now: BRAIN CANDY.

Welcome to HIVE you are here !!!!
Its interesting and great that you put your story into a blog and left it here on the blockchain, so welcome, welcome to the Hive movement and blockchain. Your first blog is up and on the chain, hope you feel relieved, and not afraid of what is coming your way in the comments. Hope this will be just the same addiction I have with Hive. Just joking Ofcourse!
We know it can be daunting and frightening because all is new.

But for now the new beginning, you will have fun blogging and vlogging I promise. But in the beginning it’s hard and all is new and maybe you need help. We have amazing people here and a help discord if you need it. I love blogging, and was a newcomer once aswell so i know the feeling. The biggest and best advice is always be carefull with all your passwords, Never give those up !! I speak from experience !

What always is a big help to your account is to try to build and expand it. Be a daily blogger. The best way is to comment / respond on other hivers and their posts, there are so many topics here, you will definitely find a place for your thoughts and brainwaves.

I use @Peakd to post to Hive but Ecency is also a possibility. It’s a website, mobile and desktop application that improves your experience on Hive. I dont have to welcome you to HIVE, since you both are already here with your own accounts. I do like the initiative! Wondering though what you mean with you "but we are also happy to feature musicians of HIVE on our channel!" Are you planning to play the music provided by others or somehow incorporate the 3rd party music in your Brain Candy blog?

About your question: We produce alot of meditation music ourselves, but are always happy if we have more music which we can use in our videos and we also hope to help some musicians get more exposure if we play their music in our videos and name them.

Yeah you are right, the combination electronic and acoustic is fascinating and we are always experimenting with that!
