# Hello BROs! 
Another week has passed. Sunday is here again. And we're going to kick this week off with some unexpected news. From today, we are changing up this "Newspaper". We all have weeks when we have little to say, and this is a typical week in crypto bear market times. There is just very little news that is really worth sharing in this week's newspaper. And to be honest, we don't expect that to change anytime soon. 

It's the optimal time to build projects in a bear market, and there are projects who do. Including BRO! But it is also the time when it is even more difficult than in any other time to find the important news to share with you.

The crypto market is taking a hit. Prices are going down, and it's hard for people to invest. We don't want to take the responsibility of sharing projects with you here every week, which then may not get off the ground due to the circumstances, or take a huge blow in price. **We don't want to be held responsible for any investment you may make because we presented here as "an opportunity for a profit".**

To prevent this, we will only bring news if there is really significant news for the time being. That will mainly be news from The Mancave, when it is there. And further, a weekly **Sunday Surprise** post will just be online. Where you can encounter something different every week.

It is of course always worth letting you know that the Splinterlands adventure of the BROs is going well. Although the dollar value as everyone knows is currently down quite a bit from its peak, our assets have grown tremendously in numbers.

**Our @burlarj is a champ**! He plays our account and he does it fantastic! He knows that himself, but it can certainly be said again. Last season, he racked up around 10K SPS for the BROs. (15 days). If that can remain stable, then that is about 20K SPS per month. Awesome!

This SPS will all be staked for a bigger price eventually. **Ah, imagine what this will do once the bull comes back**. For now, however, we can still dream of that time! As we all realize, the bears are currently in charge. **But we keep building, and the better times will come.**

EMP continues to move full steam ahead despite this bear market, and despite the fact that you won't see this reflected in EMP's current price unfortunately.

Still, the team led by @abrockman is not letting this current situation guide them and they continue to work tirelessly every day on improvements, expansions and new collaborations.

On October 5, the next Detonator as a Service (DaaS) project will be a fact. The Cultivator will then be launched. Cultivator is a DaaS project in collaboration with **[Growth Defi](https://growthdefi.com/)** and will use xGRO / BNB LP tokens.

What these DaaS projects entail for EMP is that 4% of the deposits go straight to EMP's treasury. And you can imagine that this can amount to a massive amount. Which will ensure that EMP will look very different in a few weeks, months than it is now. And anyone who's sold their EMP now is probably going to regret it a lot.
