<div class="text-justify"> It's been more than a week since I posted [my interview with @raymondspeaks here.](https://peakd.com/mancave/@brofund/as-promised-the-interview#comments) Almost two weeks, in fact. It's not easy to 'catch' these people to be interviewed, trust me. They're people like you and me, with busy lives, and there's just not so much time in a day. The whole idea was to post these interviews each Wednesday. There's the issue. My issue mainly. The funny thing is: I work really well under pressure, and having to hold a tight deadline. I've done it for many years. You could even say that I've delivered some of my best work under pressure. However, what I have issues with is a *set schedule.* Tell me today that I need to get something finished by tomorrow, or next week, and I'll have it done. But tell me that I need to have something done every Wednesday...it's where I fail. ***There***, I just revealed one of my weaknesses. Or maybe it's not a weakness at all? If the whole BRO & Mancave crew shows us one thing, it's that they're all amazing at working hard, and pivoting into a different direction when needed. They get things done! And I would be lying if I'd say that I'm not proud of being part of that team. # The Man who gets things done! Do you know who's part of that team? One guy that gets things done? Not yet a dragon, as he admitted to me. Well, join the 'not a dragon club'! I'm nothing more than a tiny little dragons' egg myself...š A man who may be a smaller BRO but definitely not any less important than the big guns we find in this circle... Our very own '@CineTV' @papacrusher! ### After my long intro, I hope you'll enjoy the little interview we did! ***Hi @papacrusher It's great to have you on today! Now, to begin, could you tell us a little bit more about yourself?*** So, Iād say Iām just an average ordinary guy who has been exceedingly blessed to have met some fascinating people who have had faith in me. I just turned 49, Iām married to my best friend, I have a daughter, grandson, and granddaughter. Iāve been a cop for 25 years and I game, do jiu jitsu, and fish for hobbies. ***What does an average day/week look like for you?*** Depends on the week. One week is my long week to work at my IRL job and the next week is my short week. On my short week I only work wednesday and thursday, so that leaves tons of time to devote to my other passions and take care of my chores and running around lol. ***How does a cop find his way to decentralisation and crypto? Itās quite interesting to say the least, no?*** I remember first hearing about BTC when it was around $20 and the cop in me said āThis has got to be some kind of scam, I just canāt figure out how!ā lololol The next time I heard about it, it was just under $400 and I said, āHey, I need to get in on this!ā lolol That led me to [Bitcointalk forum](https://bitcointalk.org/), and after pouring through days and days of information trying to educate myself, I came across a Devtome/Devcoin thread and was fascinated that I could actually earn crypto for writing. I have been absolutely enamoured of the written word since a very early age and I saw such tangible power in being able to successfully express yourself when pen is put to paper. My first writing love was poetry and I am still smitten by the ebbs and flows of meaningful verse. I signed up for that, tried, not very well, to learn markdown for editing lolol and started writing on there. The very first connection I made was an extremely interesting and fascinating fellow named @novacadian and he helped me navigate the overwhelming technical ups and downs of blockchain. Without his mentorship, I would have abandoned it almost immediately. ***What brought you to Hive initially, and when did you join?*** As Devtome began to have internal struggles and uncertainty of what direction it was headed, Novacadian introduced me to the predecessor of Hive and I joined that around August of 2016. It was just a way to keep pecking away at my eternal battle of getting my heart to bleed the right way on paper lolol I took a break just as the former was forking to Hive and came back home in December of 2021. ***Have you told any of your colleagues about Hive & crypto? Have you maybe brought anyone to Hive? What are their responses about it?*** We are all intimately familiar with the challenges associated with onboarding someone to Hive and that is compounded when they are not technical in nature. I was able to convince a few people I have worked with to join and post, but only one is still currently active. ***What were your first impressions of the platform, and what do you feel about it now?*** It has always felt like āhomeā....where i belong and just like homeā¦..there are days I adore it and days I want to move lololol But even the most challenging day on Hive still offers me more return than any other āsocial mediaā outlet and few places and platforms in the world offer the freedom to truly take your destiny within your own grasp. Obviously, there are things that need to be improved, but such is lifeā¦.it is a never ending journey to be a little bit better than we were yesterday. ***What do you think platforms like our very own Hive & cryptocurrency in general can do for the younger generations? How major or minor will it be in their lives?*** How should I know????? I'm an old man!!!! lolol I think now, more than ever it provides an opportunity for an entire generation to take control of their futures and be able to provide an income, on some level, regardless of whatever is going on in their lives. I feel it will be a major factor in their lives as they are much more comfortable adopting and embracing technology that we may have felt was foreign or too complex. I know the current generation gets a lot of flack, but they are wicked smart and it's been my experience they place a much higher importance on work/life balance and I'm impressed by that. ***I've been teaching my kids about crypto from a very young age. Have you taught your daughter? Or are you right now teaching your grandkids about it?*** I talked my daughter (26 years old) into joining the former platform but she just didn't seem to care for it too much. I recently opened a drip wallet for my daughter, grandson, and granddaughter. When it moons as I know it will, I will give my daughter access to hers once she turns 30-35 because I was a complete idiot until that age lololol and then I will turn the grandkids' accounts over to her to manage until she sees fit to pass it on to them. ***In regards to cryptocurrency, did you make any mistakes? Any regrets? (aside from not buying BTC when it was $20)*** lololol That was my biggest mistake by far. I've made a ton of missteps during my crypto adventure so far and I'm sure I'll make more. I'd say, my biggest mistake was giving up on projects too soon and not having the insight or vision to see things through and I suffer extremely bad from FOMO lololol. *Source: tenor* ***And now regarding CineTV: How did that happen? What is it in your life that inspired you to start/join the project?*** Oh I didnāt start it, Iām just humbly entrusted with guiding the helm of this magnificent ship and try to realize Rayās vision for what it could be and while I thoroughly enjoy every moment of it, there are days I feel woefully inadequate to what it deserves. Film and television have been closer to me than a trusted lover and my fascination for both started from a very early age. There is a perfect scene, quote, and relationship for every occasion hidden within the miles and miles of celluloid. Movies and television can bring out the best in who we are as a society and they have a way of uniting us all for our universal love of great films. ***When was your first introduction to The Mancave, how did it happen?*** I met some really great and influential to my life people very early on in my blockchain journey and Ray was the foremost of them. I donāt remember exactly how I met him, but it was probably through a mutual discord and he invited me to check out the Mancave fairly early on and I was intrigued by his vision and dream for it. ***And how many warnings from Raymond did you need before you invested in BRO? :D What were your main reasons for joining The ManCave?*** Far far too many lololol I was involved in some of the predecessors to the current BRO coin, but I was on hiatus when this final version launched and became so successful. Ray tried multiple, multiple, multiple times lololol to talk some sense into me and bring me back to the fold but I have a penchant for being a bit stubborn. I should have listened much sooner! Lololol One of Rayās most endearing qualities is that he doesnāt give up on people and I am proof of that! ***What is your most favourite project BRO fund has invested in or is supporting, and why? Is it CineTV or is there another project you feel equally passionate/positive about?*** Of course itās CineTVā¦ā¦.I canāt have Ray firing me for saying something else lololol Cine is the closest to my heart, but all the projects offer their own impressive traits and robust futures. Cine has a long way to go to finally become what the ultimate vision is, but we will definitely get there. ***As a ManCave member, of course you spend every waking hour in the Discord channel, talking to other BROs. What was the best, funniest, most serious, or most boring conversation youāve ever had there or witnessed. Please give us the juicy truth. Any drama? Do tell!*** The current environment and climate of the Mancave is much, much different than the earlier days, I personally preferred the earlier versions but I think the best conversation I witnessed was someone trying to deflect an escalating tift by interjecting a mention of a falling fence and we went wild with all the possible details of that fence and it lasted for days and days about the status of that fence. It was a good good time. I am a people watcher by nature so, of course, I get immense satisfaction and joy witnessing the increasing instability of some personalities as they spiral into the voidā¦lololol ***We all know that BROfund is perfectā¦However, if there is anything youād like to see happen, or change, what would it be? Would you add anything? Any project to be supported? Or any other ideas?*** Of courseā¦ā¦it needs to make me instantly rich and I wish Ray would get on with it already! Lololol Iām a very very simple man and leave the complicated tokenomics to those much much smarter than Iā¦ā¦Iām extremely grateful that we have a friend in Marky to help guide us from time to time. ***Is there anything to look forward to with CineTV? Anything coming up in the near future thatās not forbidden to share?*** Our most pressing concern right now is the completion of the complete overhaul to our frontend. It is going to be extremely slick and the āgo toā place for anyone wanting to write about movies and television. We try to keep our future plans fairly close, but suffice it to say that from big dreamers come even bigger realities. Our team is packed full of some of the most talented and dedicated people the blockchain has to offer and I feel so very fortunate to be a small part of where we will be in 5 yearsā¦.10 yearsā¦ā¦it is going to be phenomenal! ***Cine tokens are at a pretty low price now, itās a good time to buy I think, personally. What would you tell potential investors. Why should they look into Cine tokens and why should they buy (without giving direct financial advice haha)*** It is ALWAYS a good time to buy CINE! Lololol We are dedicated and constantly looking for avenues, collaborations, and partnerships to encourage case uses for CINE. We have teamed up with some of the most popular names on HIVE and we are also exploring off chain opportunities to plug in traditional movie and television related personalities onto the blockchain. ***If there is anyone whoās still on the fence about whether or not they want to invest in BRO and join the BROs, what advice would you give them? (aside from dyor)*** For me (DYOR and NFA!!!! lolol) in addition to the amazing returns, growth, and stability that BRO has enjoyed, you are getting so much moreā¦..you are joining a familyā¦.now mind you it can be a dysfunctional toxic family at timesā¦.but arenāt the best ones that way!?!?!?!?! Lololol jk you become part of a familyā¦..you find your place among like-minded brothers and sistersā¦ā¦we build each other up and walk this crazy path togetherā¦..that is something that you canāt buy and the returns compound for eternity. I have met some of the greatest, interesting, and loyal people through the Mancave and BRO and I wouldnāt trade those relationships and experiences for anything! ***One last question. You've probably seen more in all those years working as a cop than most other people would in their entire lives. Personally, I lean towards anarchy. A lot! And not the anarchy as it is portrayed by media and most governments. But the sort of anarchy where people can govern themselves, in a way. When I look at myself and the people around me: we know right from wrong. We know stealing and killing is wrong, and it isn't the answer to anything. But I also know that most of the world isn't ready to govern themselves, and live in harmony with each other. From your point of view, what do you think the world needs to render governments and control, and eventually: your profession, obsolete? (I know it's a tough one haha)*** As depressing and pessimistic as it may sound I feel it is utterly unattainable for us as a species lololol. Now that doesn't mean I don't think we should constantly and consistently try to get there, but historically we as a society have not proven the best at not being governed and our base nature is much more powerful than most people, especially academia, would like to admit. i mean we couldn't even get through a couple of chapters of the Bible without the first murder, banishment, and eventually a world so disgusting that God felt like he needed to wipe it out and start over lolololol in general, at our core, we are cold, calculating, and crafty creatures and we will lay all that to bare when tested with tragedy. hey but I could be wrong...ā¦. I think the closest we may get is a true libertarian style government.....at least that is how I lean a bit lololol # Conclusion Did you expect to hear all this about our @papacrusher? I sure didn't! I knew he was a dad and a grandfather, and a cop. But that's about all I knew, and I 'work' with him! (I purposely put the word between accents because to me it doesn't feel like work. Shush, don't tell Ray!) Turns out: there's more under the surface. That's why I love doing interviews. It brings out things in people that we otherwise wouldn't be aware of. In the (near) future, I really hope I can do a few live, or at least spoken, ones because it will give me the chance to be more spontaneous with my questions. However, this is better than nothing. So please, let me know your thoughts! Good and bad. Criticism is a good thing! </div> https://files.steempeak.com/file/steempeak/misslasvegas/sTPSQ9xk-imageedit_8_4253086127.gif

Maintaining productivity under pressure, that's impressive! Great interview. I can relate to at least two of those experiences. Among more or less ten that I onboarded on Hive, not even one sees what I saw. Perhaps, I am poor in my communication skills. Whenever I talk about Hive, they usually associate it with some of their bad experiences in the past. An opposite mistake can also be committed such as holding on to a project for too long and refusing to take profit. !PIZZA !CTP
