We will enjoy a good morning coffee while waiting for another 30 minutes. If you are not able to join there you can always use the <a href="https://buzzparty.tibfox.com">web app</a> to meet us at any other spot of the day.<br><br><b>Important note about the dinner on Saturday:</b> The 2 booked restaurants (vegan / greek) do not support plastic money. Please take some cash with you - even though the main dish will get paid by us!<br><br>

Make sure to read <a href="https://abackpackersworld.com/is-hamburg-safe/">this article</a> about safety in Hamburg.<br><br>If you are at the Reeperbahn don't get involved with the many beautiful girls trying to talk to you. They just wanna sell you "something" ;)

<h5>Bike Lanes</h5>Try to avoid walking on the reddish lines which are the bike lanes in Hamburg. Bikers are a bit rude and often a bit careless...
<h5>Schietwetter (Rainy) 😭</h5>Unfortunately the weather forecast is not looking good so make sure to take an umbrella and weatherproof clothing with you! It can still change to the good 🤞

<h5>Parking</h5>If you come to Hamburg by car and your hotel does not offer a parking spot then the cheapest way to park is outside of the city center and Altona. There are many free parking spots in the outer circle for example in these areas. <br><br>Of course make sure you have a good connection from your parking spot to your hotel and the city center before parking and leaving your car ;)

<h5>Transportation</h5>Taxis are fairly expensive in Hamburg and often take longer than public transport. The city is very well-connected via trains, metros, and busses so I really recommend you to check out public transport only.

<h5>Public Transport Information</h5>Google has okay results when you search for public transport connections via maps. If you want to become a true local then make sure to use https://www.hvv.de/en which is the official public transport website with all details and options.

<br><a href="https://www.hvv.de/en/tickets/single-day-tickets">Day Tickets</a> are usually the best deal. If you will not get out of the city center then AB is perfectly fine.<br><br><br>
<b>But:</b> If you are planning to visit attractions that are not listed in our timetable then it could be a good idea to buy the <a href="https://www.hamburg.com/useful-information/11900786/hamburg-card/">Hamburg Card</a> directly when you have arrived. You can get them at tourist information located at the airport and many big train stations. You will save on public transport and you'll also get huge discounts on many attractions around Hamburg.
