This summer some friends invited me, and of course I couldn't say no to the offer. So here we are, in one of the few mountainous regions of Ciego de Ávila, Cuba, to be more exact, in Florencia.    Aquí se encuentra ubicado el Campismo Boquerón, sitio que me mantuvo literalmente desconectada del mundo, porque no había ni la más mínima señal, pero en cambio, reconectada con la naturaleza. >Here is where Campismo Boquerón is located, a site that kept me literally disconnected from the world, because there was not even the slightest signal, but reconnected with nature.    Tocororos, carpinteros, colibríes y disímiles especies más, son una de las maravillas que pudimos admirar en nuestra estancia por dos noches. >Tocororos, woodpeckers, hummingbirds and dissimilar species more are one of the wonders that we could admire during our stay for two nights.  No te voy a mentir, la instalación no es lujosa, tampoco es cómoda, pero la verdad es que cuando vengo a estos lugares siempre salgo a caminar y solo regreso a dormir, así que estaba feliz. >I'm not going to lie to you, the facilities are not luxurious, nor is it comfortable, but the truth is that when I come to these places I always go for a walk and only come back to sleep, so I was happy.  El farallón de piedra de las fotos fue el primero en darme los buenos días, mientras el sol salía, y por todos los alrededores caminan cerdos felices, criados en libertad. >The stone cliff in the photos was the first to give me good morning, while the sun was rising, and around the area happy pigs roam freely.    La zona más cercana para disfrutar del río se encuentra aproximadamente a 1 km, lo que ya te obliga a moverte y respirar aire puro, así que eso hicimos luego de almorzar. >The closest area to enjoy the river is approximately 1 km away, which already forces you to move and breathe fresh air, so that's what we did after lunch.  Mi intención era ir nadando por el medio de dos montañas por las que atraviesa el río hasta perderse dentro de una cueva, pero me dio miedo la profundidad y no pude, excusa perfecta para regresar. >My intention was to swim through the middle of two mountains that the river runs through until it gets lost inside a cave, but I was afraid of the depth and couldn't do it, the perfect excuse to come back.  La segunda zona más cómoda para nadar es esta de aquí, le dicen las lajas, obviamente por las enormes lajas de piedras que lo adornan. El agua para mi sorpresa estaba caliente, había zonas bastante profundas, y algunos peces gatos de estos grandes con bigotes, pero nada peligrosos. >The second most comfortable swimming area is this one here, they call it the slabs, obviously because of the huge stone slabs that adorn it. To my surprise the water was warm, there were quite deep areas, and some big cats with mustaches, but nothing dangerous.    El segundo día nos fuimos a explorar las montañas, subimos uno de los puntos más altos desde donde se podía observar una hermosa panorámica de los alrededores. Casas de campesinos, café, plátano, palmas, y el río, hacen que no quieras bajar de allá arriba, además de la deliciosa brisa que refresca cuando rozan las nubes. >On the second day we went to explore the mountains, we climbed one of the highest points from where you could see a beautiful panorama of the surroundings. peasant houses, coffee, plantain, palm trees, and the river, make you not want to get down from up there, in addition to the delicious breeze that refreshes when the clouds brush.      Encima de la loma es donde único llega la señal, cosa que nos hizo aprovechar para comunicarnos un poco con el mundo antes de bajar. Comimos algo y nos vimos obligados a descender con prisa por miedo a que nos agarrara la lluvia en el camino. Luego de llover, la tarde me compensó con unas vistas muy hermosas junto a mis nuevos amigos, los cerditos. >The only signal reaches the top of the hill, which made us take advantage of communicating a little with the world before going down. We ate something and we were forced to descend quickly for fear of the rain catching us on the way. After the rain the afternoon compensated me with very beautiful views next to my new friends, the pigs.    Si vienes al campismo, debes ser consciente de que no hay cobertura, así que no podrás llamar ni conectarte a internet. Otro consejo es traer bastantes provisiones, porque la oferta independientemente de las comidas es casi nula, y el agua y el ejercicio abren mucho el apetito. Es necesario igualmente que sepas ir acompañado de alguien que conozca la zona, sí decides explorar cuevas y demás, porque el servicio de guía no lo están ofertando y está demasiado intransitable todo. >If you come to the campsite, you must be aware that there is no coverage, so you will not be able to call or connect to the internet. Pues ya tengo ese como uno de mis puntos para visitar. Está bueno para organizar un retiro de yoga. Alquilar el campismo completo e ir con dos buses llenos de yoguis y yoguinis a pasar una semana retirados del ruido practicando Asanas, Pranayamas y mantras al amanecer 😘😘😘

Qué hermosura! Mis fotos favoritas fueron la de la casita cubierta de verde por los árboles y el campo abierto donde pastaba el caballo, qué divino se ve todo! A veces tenemos que desconectarnos para reconectarnos, lo de la señal telefónica no me preocupa ni un poco, solo pienso en los mosquitos! Qué bueno que lo disfrutaste, hermosas fotos. Saludos!
