That's why Threads will suck RC and push Hive to the moon
**Threads** has only recently launched and user activity on the platform has been massive, exceeding all expectations in such a short term. The goal is to create a web3.0 version of existing social platforms, with all the advantages that blockchain brings in terms of transparency, freedom and security.

The team's commitment to build an innovative social platform will certainly require great commitment and perseverance in development. On the other hand, the goal is *only* the onboarding of millions of users in the coming years, something crazy and stimulating today.

The interconnection between threads-Leofinance-Hive is very close: publishing #threads requires a minimum of RC and consequently Hive Power. At a current estimate, in order not to have blocked problems for #threads activity, each user should ensure a minimum quota of at least 100 Hive Power in order to carry out all possible transactions such as post publication, comments and upvotes.

A mere 4 million users today would require more than the current $HIVE supply, many could simply rent RCs to live a life of income. Only 4 million users to send #threads and $HIVE on the moon!

To cite a few numbers on social platforms: Facebook has 2.9 billion users, WhatsApp 2 billion, WeChat 1.5 billion, Reddit 430 million (data updated to 2022). Just imagine even 1% of the users of these social platforms on #threads! I'll leave you to do some simple mathematical calculations.

I love thinking about the great potential of our community, and I also love seeing how undervalued it is currently. It takes time and development, that's for sure. None of the social media listed have reached those numbers in a few months or years. The luck of us users is to be able to be here to witness the progress made day by day.

I can't predict prices for $HIVE in the foreseeable future, but if applications like #threads manage to attract a large number of new users, my friends, fasten your seatbelts, the rocket to the moon is ready to set sail.
