<div class="text-justify"> Looking back to my life many years ago, there are some regrets I generally have about my life and that is the fact that there are some things that I will have wished I should have done early which I didn't do. There are some things I wish I should have taken with so much value but I just underate them thinking it is not really important as it should be. And I strongly believe I am not the only one that have that same feelings because virtually everyone of us has that mindset of underating something that we thought it was not really important, valuable or worth giving attention and at the end of the day, we regretted our actions. There are some health issues that we are suffering now, it was as a result that we underated it and didn't give much attention to it at the early stage. Among all the diseases we have, malaria has been one of the underated sickness that people didn't always take serious. It will shock many of us that millions of lives died every year due to Malaria as it has become a global health challenges. Malaria as it is called is caused by the Plasmodium parasites and this parasite is what is responsible to transfer the infection to human body when you are bitten by the female anopheles mosquitoes. Like I said earlier, apart from the health challenges it caused, one of the major reason why we should not underate it is because it claims lives. According to my research, I discovered that over 600,000 lives were dead due to malaria in only 2022 and that is only in Africa l. Imagine all the other continent is calculated with it. This is absolutely dangerous as even though there are a whole lot of therapy that has been done to it, it still didn't work. In fact the drug resistance building up in the human body is what is responsible for some of them to lose their life to Malaria even after treatment. Not only that, the fact that it is underated, many people tend to indulge in self medication whenever they are suffering from malaria. Because they didn't see it as something chronic as other diseases, and this leads them to self prescribe medications which unknown to them is damaging their body. I strongly believe in the future, more public enlightenment programs will be done for everyone to live with the right consciousness of malaria disease as that will kickstart the improvement we have been targeting.
