Chaos in the wild  
                                                                                 Alexa looked at the clock- it was almost 10 pm. She had to go to the zoo where she worked. She felt a need to visit her family. At ten sharp, she put on her dark shades and headed for the zoo. The zoo was just a few minutes walk from her residence and in no time she was already at the gate of the zoo.
  
One of the guards walked up to the gate. It was Arnold, the newly employed security guard. She showed him her identification card as she was a worker at the zoo. He opened the gate and allowed her in. She walked into the zoo and made for the lion enclosure. She checked if she was being followed and when she was sure she wasn't, she dropped her bag and knelt on all fours. She thought of her family in Ariz and how they were faring.

In a split second, she transformed into the princess of Ariz. She was a beautiful lioness and the pride of her father- King Arez. She walked into the hidden garden that was the entrance to the wild. Alexa walked on and on till she got to the back entrance of her father's den. She walked into the den only to find her mother weeping in a corner of the den.
 
Her mother was at first surprised to see her but her face contorted into further sadness. Alexa walked up to her mother and asked her the cause of her sadness.
"Your father was killed". Her mother told her amidst sobs.
"How? By whom?Why?" She said in a rush almost in tears.
"Several packs of hyenas have been coming into Ariz and they have been terrorizing other smaller animals under your father. Soldiers have been deployed before but they were all killed and your father decided to go himself with other soldiers. I warned him but he wouldn't listen to me". Her mother said.
"Where are the others?" Alexa asked.
"They have all gone to join the soldiers in the war with the hyenas". Her mother replied.
  
Alexa wiped her eyes and resolved to take revenge. She remembered all the things her father had done for her including helping her get the potion that would make her enable her to change into a human and a lion. She knew what she would do, she was going to fight and was never going to back down. She would avenge her father.
"Mother, I have to go". She told her mother.
"No, Alexa- don't". Her mother said.
"I have to mother, I must avenge my father's death".
 
Her mother tried pleading but she was already determined. She would avenge her father. She went to the army barracks and luckily, she met a soldier who told her that the hyenas weren't working on their impulse. There was a traitor in Ariz and it was her uncle- Allen. He wanted to take over power in Ariz for selfish reasons.

She was taken to the battlefield where soldiers fought with all their might. She knew that it would be a tough fight and they were highly overpowered. She joined in the fighting but in the end, the hyenas won and she escaped and went into hiding.

A few years after the war she left Ariz and went back to New Orleans where she worked and lived as a human. Life continued for her and many other lions in Ariz who found the potion that could make them change into humans. She found out that her uncle also was transformed and was a very influential man in New Orleans.

Alexa knew what to do. If she couldn't avenge her father as a lioness, she could always do something to Allen to make him pay dearly for what he has done to her father since he did not know her as a human being.
