Dayo has been a villain and a fighter ready to make his way out to greatness. He worked so hard to find success but could not make headway to trace the right path just because of some impediment on his way. 

Dayo has a friend who happened to advise him on what to do and how he should play his card or game. Wale is their only trusted friend of Dayo who can make him understand what is inside life. 

He is working in a Craneburg construction company where he has so many rivals. He is good in the aspect of electrical work. Wale was the one who introduced him to the company. The fact remains that he is the man behind the greatness of the company but the company refused to promote him just because of Ken. Ken has been in the job for over ten years now whereas Dayo has been in the job for just eight years. 

Ken does not know as much as Dayo but he has been the one controlling him just because of the working age difference. 

Any connections Dayo makes would be credited to Ken. This means Ken has been the one taking credit for the great work of Dayo. 

This later caused serious trouble for the two of them. 

One fateful day, Ken was called to make some hard electrical connections which he could not carry out. He decided to call on Dayo to help him out but Dayo could not answer his calls just because of the annoyance of not receiving a promotion. He tried all means to get in touch with Dayo but all his efforts proved abortive. He decided to do the work where he had to turn around from one point to the other without making headway. He tried and tried instead of just moving round from the initial connections to a rough one and the initial one again. This made him fed up. The boys he took along also tried their best to see if the fault could be rectified but their efforts were wasted. 

Wale told Dayo to attend to Ken and ignore the fact that he is just an impediment to his success. Dayo decided to listen to his friend's words and attended to Ken's call. He went to meet up with them and made the connections within a few minutes. What most people cannot do or find so tough, Dayo can attend to those things within a few minutes. He has the talent and wants to be called boss instead of answering someone else who does not fit to be called boss. 

Ken is the only one who can sign his letter of promotion but yet he has always rejected his proposals. 

The day of reckoning was fast approaching and the owners of the company had to put everyone in the company under serious test. They brought out some electrical items to be connected by all the staff of the company. Dayo was not told by his area supervisor just because he would overtake them all. He was sidelined and did not come to work that very day just because of the wrong information that was passed to him. It was supposed to be a day of resting. His friend that was supposed to give him the information was not in his section instead was in the mechanical section. 

He has promised his neighbor to help him fix his electricity and his tools were in his office. He was not ready to go but summoned the courage to go to the office to have his tools ready for his neighbor's electrical connections. When he got to the office, he saw the unexpected and all his co-workers were behaving strangely. Dayo was shocked to see the managing director of the construction company around and was more surprised to see his supervisor. He just pretended as if he had come to take something and did not allow his supervisor to know he was around. 

It's time to give them some tests just to promote them all. After the promotion, their salary would increase to the highest level. After seeing them, he sensed these were the reasons they are all around. 

They started the test with the junior officers which Dayo was part of. Electrical works, as well as questions, were given to them just to test who is fit and due for promotion. Within a few minutes, the test was given, and Dayo submitted it. The supervisor was surprised to see him and was not just surprised but shocked because he was not invited. The M.D. of the company as well as the professionals they brought went through Dayo's connections as well as the questions given to him, they were left with no words and instead with happiness. The others who were given the same project did rubbish. 

They proceeded to the senior officers. This time Ken was seriously afraid since he had no idea of what they wanted to give to them. 

They equally gave them the same test that was given to the junior officers. There were four in the number who were senior officers. They were turning around at a spot trying to complete the work but could not come up with serious solutions. The fact remains that Dayo's boss was expecting the same test that was given to them in their last promotion but he was disappointed. 

 It takes them time to finish their project and the questions given to them. After going through their work, it was all discovered that they were just as if everything they did came back in a roll the initial point which made all their works be zero. They did nothing. 

The manager and MD of the company had to try Dayo in difficult work which was more complicated than usual. It did not take him up to thirty minutes before getting the work done. He went to the extent of explaining in detail what he did. 

After critical observations, all the invitees, the manager as well as the M.D. clapped for him and he was given the position of Area Manager. Ken was furious but had nothing to do with Dayo. 

All the supervisors' papers were rolled and taken to their files for record purposes.
