NextColony: 3D Galaxy Map - Progress - 2019-05-02 - smooth/texture/3th dimension

Since the galaxy looked so flat, I lifted the planets into the third dimension. All planets got a random Z coordinate.

I also adjusted the appearance of the planets a bit. They are now rounder and have a picture of the moon as texture.

In addition to the two coordinate axes, a coordinate grid is now displayed.

Da die Galaxie so flach aussah, habe ich die Planeten in die dritte Dimension gehoben. Alle Planeten haben eine zufällige Z-Koordinate bekommen.

Das Aussehen der Planeten habe ich auch etwas angepasst. Sie sind nun runder und haben ein Bild vom Mond als Textur bekommen.

Zusätzlich zu den beiden Koordinatenachsen wird nun ein Koordinatengitter angezeigt.

Good job but that lifting planets is unnecessary because it complicates to measure the distance between planets. They also should be smaller and most importantly named so I can know where my planet is.

Hello steelman, thanks for suggestions.
The third dimension is only a visual enhancement and can be toggled on/off for measuring in one of the next versions.  
You are right, the planets are actually much too big. 
Naming the planets and showing some stats are also on my todo list.
