Nos encontramos a pocos días del mundial y estoy seguro de que todos hemos observado los 8 grupos y a las selecciones que los conforman, en algunos de ellos ya podemos definir o pronosticar a los posibles clasificados, pero hay grupos donde existen dudas al respecto de quienes pueden ser los clasificados, ya que hay algunas selecciones que están en un nivel similar; recientemente pude reflexionar un poco sobre cada una de las selecciones y sus posibilidades de avanzar a la siguiente fase.

Hace un par de días estuve participando en la iniciativa del usuario @eliasg85 y esto me hizo profundizar más sobre la actualidad de algunas selecciones y que tan exitosa pude ser la fase de grupos para dichas selecciones, creo que pueden ocurrir algunas sorpresas, desde lo personal creo que en el grupo A, lo más probable es que clasifique Holanda y la batalla será entre Ecuador y Senegal por el segundo puesto, pero en los últimos partidos Ecuador no ha sido la misma y el gol está costando un poco, aun así hay que tener en cuenta que no todos los jugadores han estado disputando los amistosos, quizás al tener a la plantilla completa de cara al mundial podremos ver si el rendimiento mejora, por otro lado, Senegal tiene jugadores en equipos importantes y desde mi punto de vista, considero que puede competir y dejar por fuera a la selección tricolor.

En el grupo B no hay mucho que hablar, creo que los Europeos se impondrán, solo Estados Unidos puede dar la sorpresa y la clave será en el partido contra Gales, en ese mismo grupo ubicaría a Inglaterra en la cima del grupo, mientras tanto en el Grupo C todo indica que el favorito Argentina debería ser primero de grupo, en la actualidad se ve una selección compenetrada y su máxima estrella Lionel Messi que llega en buena forma.

En el mismo grupo C la lucha por el segundo puesto pasará por el partido entre México y Polonia, desde mi punto de vista veo a México un poco debilitado y esta selección ha recibido duras críticas por su juego y el manejo que le está dando su técnico, con esto no quiero decir que Polonia sea favorito, pero creo que puede ser un partido cerrado, ya que la selección Mexicana suele crecer y luchar en los momentos difíciles, además de eso la selección habitualmente suele superar la fase de grupos, ya veremos cómo está selección puede resolver sus partidos.

En los demás grupos hay  1 o 2 favoritos absolutos para clasificar, pero considero que   el grupo E será interesante por el partido entre España y Alemania, pero como ya mencioné es muy probable ver algunas sorpresas en los grupos restantes; además de eso creo que en la actualidad las principales selecciones de CONMEBOL tienen más opciones en comparación con otras ediciones de los mundiales, pero lógicamente las selecciones Europeas no dejarán que esto sea tan fácil.

Entre los principales problemas de este mundial, se encuentran las lesiones, ya se han confirmado diversos jugadores que se perderán este torneo tan importante y en las concentraciones se ha podido conocer que hay jugadores que son dudas, pero todo esto tiene un motivo y es la fecha en la que fue programada, debido a que no dejo respirar a los jugadores, prácticamente dejaron a sus clubes y fueron directo a las concentraciones.

En otras ediciones el mundial era organizado a mediados de año, es decir, durante el final de temporada en la mayoría de las ligas del mundo, lo cual dejaba un pequeño intervalo de tiempo para que los jugadores se organizaran, se recuperarán y tomarán oxígeno, de esta forma se evitaban las fatiga y sobrecargas, por lo tanto, este mundial podría dejarnos un cúmulo de lesiones, no solo durante el mundial, también posteriormente, ya que los jugadores deben reintegrarse y jugar nuevamente con sus clubes a finales del mes de diciembre, solo el tiempo nos dirá que consecuencias nos dejara este mundial en los que resta de temporada, esperemos que todo transcurra positivamente.
