##### <center>Ok, enough of the cat photos. Let’s get back to Kananaskis. Back to some fall photos captured last September. This was turning out to be a splendid hike, just look at these beautiful Larch trees lining the valley. First time for me hiking Ptarmigan cirque, and so far it was not a disappointment. I can see why it is such a popular destination! Located about 90 minutes from Calgary, easily accessible via highway #40. If you ever find yourself in this neck of the woods, do drop on by. You won't regret it. Trust me!</center> #####

Beautiful pictures! That first one is so interesting geologically speaking, you can see just how the glaciers  shaped it in the last ice age. But all of them are nice, I love those larch trees in autumn, they are gorgeous! 

I have to agree, the mountains are more fun that cats!
