Desde hace ya mucho, tiempo la ilusión de viajar a Brasil, este país tan maravilloso que es la cuna de varios géneros muy interesantes y ricos en armonía y rítmica como lo son la samba y el bossa nova, había habitado en mi mente dando vueltas como una idea ilusoria que siempre quise vivir.
>For a long time now, the illusion of traveling to Brazil, this wonderful country that is the cradle of several very interesting and rich in harmony and rhythmic genres such as samba and bossa nova, had lived in my mind circling like an illusory idea that I always wanted to live.

Afortunadamente la vida me regaló la oportunidad de poder estar en ese país, pero aquí en este post les comentaré cómo fue la aventura de estar allá y los percances y fantásticas experiencias que debido al viaje se presentaron.
>Fortunately life gave me the opportunity to be in that country, but here in this post I will tell you how was the adventure of being there and the mishaps and fantastic experiences that occurred during the trip.

Al principio del viaje estuve pendiente de ver como serían los trámites del mismo y saber si mi estatus como migrante en Colombia fluía de alguna manera la decisión de ir a Brasil y volver a Colombia. Debo confesar que fue un poco preocupante debido a que como venezolano muchas veces nuestros datos para tener movimiento en diferentes países están muy restringidos dentro de latinoamérica porque precisamos de una visa para ir a la mayoria de los países que conforman esta región.
>At the beginning of the trip I was waiting to see how the procedures would be and to know if my status as a migrant in Colombia would somehow flow the decision to go to Brazil and return to Colombia. I must confess that it was a little worrying because as a Venezuelan many times our data to have movement in different countries are very restricted within Latin America because we need a visa to go to most of the countries that make up this region.








Luego de enterarme que mi estatus migratorio en Brasil podía transitar libremente sin necesidad de alguna visa y sin embargo también tenía la posibilidad de ir solamente con mi cédula de identidad ciudadana me alegré mucho y compré el boleto y luego de ello salí el día 31 de octubre del año en curso a la ciudad de Guarulhos cerca de Sao Paulo.
>After I found out that my migratory status in Brazil allowed me to travel freely without the need of a visa, but I also had the possibility to go with only my citizen identity card, I was very happy and bought the ticket and after that I left on October 31st of this year to the city of Guarulhos near Sao Paulo.

La experiencia que llegar allí, fue totalmente increíble debido a que era la primera vez que tomaba un vuelo internacional e iba a un país en donde hay similitudes culturales pero diferencias de idioma.
>The experience of getting there was totally incredible because it was my first time taking an international flight and going to a country where there are cultural similarities but language differences.

No más llegar a Brasil ya tenía programado una presentación en un bar llamado Booze Cruise Garage. Fui invitado para tocar allá y presenté varias de mis canciones junto con una banda que me acompañó y a los cuales después de comunicarnos nos hicimos amigos y guardamos contactos.
>As soon as I arrived in Brazil I had already scheduled a presentation in a bar called Booze Cruise Garage. I was invited to play there and I presented several of my songs along with a band that accompanied me and after communicating with them we became friends and kept in touch.

Luego de esa travesía fui a Selina Hostel, en Vila Madalena dónde también tuve la oportunidad de presentar mi música autoral y compartir con el público brasilero que ahí se encontraba.
>After that trip I went to the Selina hostel in Vila Madalena where I also had the opportunity to present my music and share with the Brazilian public that was there.

Debo decirles que esperaba que Sao Paulo fuera una ciudad más cálida pero la verdad llegué en un clima gélido frío que de verdad me sorprendió muchísimo debido a que había escuchado rumores de que Sao Paulo era muy cálido pero la gelidez en su clima fue respondida hacia mí con la calidez de su gente hermosa con quiénes tuve mucha suerte de poder congeniar y poder compartir muchas cosas lindas y así hacer amigos.
>I must tell you that I expected Sao Paulo to be a warmer city but the truth is that I arrived in a cold icy climate that really surprised me a lot because I had heard rumors that Sao Paulo was very warm but the warmth in its climate was answered to me with the warmth of its beautiful people with whom I was very lucky to get along and share many nice things and make friends.

Luego de unos días en Sao Paulo mi manager Pablo y yo tomamos un bus para irnos a Río de Janeiro que era nuestra segunda parada y donde ya habían algunos compromisos y algunas expectativas.
>After a few days in Sao Paulo my manager Pablo and I took a bus to Rio de Janeiro which was our second stop and where there were already some commitments and some expectations.

En el hermoso Río de Janeiro también fui recibido por un clima lluvioso y frio con algo que en Brasil llaman "Chuva Garoa" la cual era como llovizna muy constante y pequeña, pero sin embargo, al momento de ir a una de las siete maravillas del mundo moderno, el famosísimo Cristo Redentor, el cielo se abrió a nuestro favor y las nubes se apartaron del paisaje que nos rodeaba, dejando ver nubes, azules y hermosas vistas de la maravillosa ciudad de Río de Janeiro.
>In beautiful Rio de Janeiro I was also greeted by a rainy and cold weather with something that in Brazil they call "Chuva Garoa" which was like a very constant and small drizzle, but however, when we went to one of the seven wonders of the modern world, the famous Christ the Redeemer, the sky opened in our favor and the clouds moved away from the landscape around us, leaving clouds, blues and beautiful views of the wonderful city of Rio de Janeiro.

Ya luego en la noche del día siguiente fuimos al centro de Río de Janeiro  en una zona llamada lapa, donde estaba la sucursal de, Selina hostel, Río de Janeiro, y dónde iba a hacer una presentación en un bar llamado rooftop para un público mixto de brasileros y extranjeros.
>The next night we went to the center of Rio de Janeiro in an area called lapa, where the Selina hostel, Rio de Janeiro, was located, and where I was going to make a presentation in a bar called rooftop for a mixed audience of Brazilians and foreigners.

Allí estuve acompañado de un gran guitarrista intérprete de la música brasilera llamado Rafael oliveira quién me acompañó tocando en la guitarra una canción propia de Brasil llamada "insegurança", la cual fue un placer enorme cantar junto a el.
>There I was accompanied by a great guitarist interpreter of Brazilian music named Rafael Oliveira who accompanied me playing on the guitar a Brazilian song called "insegurança", which was a great pleasure to sing with him.

Para ser sinceros creí que viaje de Brasil iba a ser tortuoso debido a a mi nacionalidad no tanto por el trato con los propios brasileros sino por el trato con las autoridades de migración en países tanto de Colombia como de Brasil pero a la final la realidad superó la expectativa y el viaje fue muy placentero.
>To be honest I thought that the trip from Brazil was going to be tortuous due to my nationality, not so much for dealing with the Brazilians themselves but for dealing with the immigration authorities in both Colombia and Brazil, but in the end the reality exceeded expectations and the trip was very pleasant.
