<p>Well, <strong>my first argument and the strongest one </strong>is that people who join want to be appreciated by a community formed by 42000 people, users from the entire world. And this while Facebook it's an enclosed space and allows you to share with a limited number of people, 5000 I believe. I'm not including those that have fan pages.</p>
<p>That's why the posts On Facebook aren't so various, you only see what your friends are doing and what they are thinking. So little by little you start getting used to the things they share, what they like and what they think. So the things shared start losing their charm. You will probably realize this only after you've joined Steemit.</p>
<p><strong>On Steemit the articles are so diversified and the number of people who write is so huge, that it's impossible not to find a subject of your liking.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Secondly </strong>(maybe my opinion isn't the best one),  I realize now that Facebook is probably meant only to pretend. When you open Facebook you only see photos from somebody's holiday, declarations of love and anything else that help people show all the good parts of their life, trying to create that perfect image.</p>
<p>Also, when you feel like you've missed your path and you should have been a philosopher, instead of a netizen, and you start writing an essay, you suddenly but not unexpectedly realize that nobody reads your post or they start asking<em> are you ok? </em>Many will just skip after your post because they are entirely accustomed with the short ones, the Twitter-like ones. </p>
<p><strong>Well, on Steemit the situation is entirely different. You always have to carefully bring arguments to what you're writing about, that's if you want to get more upvotes, which I think is what everybody wants. But you can write about almost anything.</strong> </p>
<p>👍On Steemit you can't think it's enough only sharing your favorite music without an original interpretation that you've made about it, maybe even a cover of it, that's if you are a good singer. </p>
<p>👍Thinking about going to an event? Instead of just showing that you're interested, you should better wait until you've already participated so you can make an article with your opinion and experiences about it. </p>
<p>👍Are you shocked about the world or you feel like you've had some king of revolutionary thoughts? That's great! Here you can write your entire speech, just don't write 7 pages... don't overdo it.</p>
<p><strong>One final argument is that on Steemit feedbacks are more genuine, not entirely, but pretty close. You can get ugly comments on Facebook only if you share some amazingly dumb things.</strong></p>
<p>Because we are not yet friends on Steemit, we find it easier to share our honest opinion about an article or idea. Not getting any upvotes is also a sign that the feedback isn't a good one. </p>
<p>Don't confuse these two: getting upvotes and getting money. Even if you don't get upvotes from whales, but normal users upvotes your post anyway, it's a good sign. Your post is liked by the others and if you keep on posting, you will soon find out that you're getting money too.</p>
