**Step 4:** Finely chop the above mentioned seasonings.

**Step 5:** We add soybean oil or oil of your choice in a saucepan (caldero) and begin to fry the seasonings already chopped before.

**Step 6:** add the shredded fish to the cauldron where the seasonings are and start stirring until everything is united.

En mi tierra Carúpano, estado sucre Venezuela, muchos acostumbramos a prepararla de la siguiente manera:

**Paso 1:** En una cacerola, se coloca a sancochar el trozo de raya, en este caso 500 gr de raya. A los 20 o 30 min dependiendo de la cantidad de raya a preparar, se toca con un tenedor o palillo para saber si ya esta blandita. Se pone a escurrir y dejar enfriar.

**Paso 2:** Se le quita la piel al pescado y se comienza a desmenuzar

**Paso 3:** Los aliños más comunes a utilizar son los siguientes: ajo, cebolla, cebollín, ají, pimentón.

**Paso 4:** Picar muy pequeño los aliños antes mencionados

**Paso 5:** Le agregamos aceite de soya o de su preferencia en una cacerola (caldero) y comenzamos a sofreír los aliños ya antes picados.

**Paso 6:** agregamos el pescado ya desmenuzado al caldero donde están los aliños y comenzamos a remover hasta unir todo.

**Paso 7:** Agregar sal al gusto, color en polvo y si le gusta con su toque de picante le podemos añadir pimienta en polvo, dejar secar y listo! nuestro pescado de raya.

Normalmente lo podemos acompañar con arroz, plátano frito, aguacate, casabe, y granos (frijoles, caraota, lentejas).
