Hi foodies...

Previously I've discussed about a cafe that is comfortable to stop at in my hometown. Here my last post about the place:

This time I want to share what food I ordered there.

There was something surprising when I first opened the menu book from The Nine Caffe & Rooftop. What I heard, they provide Nusantara cuisine. But almost 50% of their menu is western and Japanese menu. It's like a mix of menus that are popular these days. Such Pastas, Pizzas, Tacos, Steiks. Other archipelago dishes such as soto, miso, meatballs, fried rice, stir-fried seafood are also available here. Snacks such as banana nuggets, fried cassava, fried tofu, I think are no less delicious than pizza. ha ha ha

It was chicken pieces cooked using a special teriyaki sauce. Then it is served with white rice and eggs with beef eye and fresh vegetables such as slice of cucumber, slice of tomato, and lettuce.

For one serving of Chicken Teriyaki, the price is set at IDR 26,000 or USD 1.82.

It was contain with slices of filet dori fish are fried with savory crispy flour and covered with salted egg to add authenticity to the tongue. Served with warm white rice, egg, and fresh vegetables like slice of cucumber, slice of tomato, and lettuce.

For one serving of Salted Egg Fish Dori, the price is set at IDR 29,000 or USD 2.08.

Both portions are quite filling. It's just that the Chicken Teriyaki menu doesn't have much so I finish the rest of the rice without the chicken or eggs.

I also ordered a portion of stir-fried broccoli as a complement to my meal.

This is broccoli stir-fried with garlic. As for the taste, I don't think it's good because the seasoning is lacking.

For one serving of stir fried broccoli, the price is set at IDR 20,000 or USD 1.40.

To drink, I'm interested in the delicious strawberry mocktail. This is a refreshing non-alcoholic drink.

For price it's around IDR 18,000 or USD 1.26.

Banana nuggets are now a popular snack and are luxuriously packaged in several restaurants and cafes including The Nine Caffe & Rooftop.

It is a banana fried in crispy flour then melted with sweetened condensed milk chocolate and grated cheese.

For taste, for all the prices all of the above foods do not have a distinctive taste that might make me come back again. If I come back it's probably because it's a cozy place to hang out with friends and family with a nice atmosphere.
