In fact, I tried the Ripple network, it is very fast, wonderfully
Perhaps this is what distinguishes it apart from the high supply but the speed of the network and transactions may actually make it a good target for banks

I hadn't thought about the gold bar to pay for a coffee, but it sounds logical, one wouldn't use a very valuable asset to pay for something stupid.

Ripple is a little weird
Crazy amount of coins
Meaningless partnerships
and blurred vision
All it has is the big history like Ethereum and Litecoin, other than that it puts herself under suspicion

But they will use XRP because a bank cant create their own coin that does the exact same thing as XRP while still giving banks control. 🤦‍♂

Well i'm glad you pointed that out. What i been trying to say all along is that bitcoin is a banking product on the shelf for rich people and rich people only. It has no economic prosperity for the people. Unfortunately most of crypto is this way but especially bitcoin.

It is so ridiculous that during the bitcoin conference they asked Jeff Dorsey why he believed so much in bitcoin and what it would do. Jack Dorsey said how it would be used for payments of all things, lol.. Then when asked why doesn't he then let twitter accept payments in bitcoin for advertising.. he tapped around that like he was the nicholas brothers.

I try to plead with the crypto community but the crypto community is so content being rich slaves.. in this faustian deal where they don't even get to keep their riches. they are so content being slaves that they are willing to sacrifice any possibility of freedom for slavery. It is a sad sad thing and it is pretty much the entire space unfortunately. Anybody with eyes can see what bitcoin is, lol. You just pointed that out won't stop them.

Now on to Xrp. Xrp was a farce from the start and still is. so the idea of xrp is to facilitate bank transfers. Then its supposedly as well an instrument for the people. Now as far as practicality of being used for payments there are problems with that but not worse than bitcoin. Bitcoin has no real intrinsic value or use because within itself it makes a horrible payment.

Now the problem with xrp is the banks in the network use xcurrent and they want everyone to use xrapid which was the actual xrp token. The xcurrent system teh banks use have nothing to do with the xrp token. So its mostly a farce but even if you get around that. What you have is Ripple the company with over 60% of the xrp coin and they are selling this coin for profits. In other words its not that they are gaining a value network from the banks using the xrp coin. It's just they printed coins and the banks are more likely going to just create their own coins as you say why would'nt they.. it's equivalent to expecting the governments to step aside or use crypto instead of creating their own centralized crypto if there was ever a such thing as a oxymoron but thats what it is.

So let me clarify that doesn't mean that xrp can't make an efficient payment system. THe thing is i dont believe it can make the type of system we're really after which would have a great degree more of decentralization that wont happen ever with xrp so people into xrp to me they clearly are people who traded off the idea of cryptocurrency for money. I don't think they really care about the principles of crypto. THey probalby just care about can i make money from this. You can make money from anything that was never the problem lol.

so i've pleaded with the space i've reasoned it out for them. I have told them time and time again that if you want this to work first you can't sell the cryptocurrenc you gotta give to everybody free as many people as possible free. Then some go well yea but if you do that it wont be a speculative asset that can gain value. That is the point and that is what freedom is. A currency has no more value at $1 than it does at $1 million.

The reason you all will never give it up is because as i said you all value the idea of being the rich slave over being the free human and that is what hinders you all and that is what you don't understand and some of you will never understand ever.

I’m starting to think that the GBTC in my IRA might, all by itself, allow my wife to retire early. Too bad it’s in a traditional IRA rather than a Roth. Might have to look into a Roth and add to my position.

You have a remarkable talent. You could talk about anything and it would appear to make sense! BTC will crash to 30 or will pump to 45? You name it. A mixture of your standard toolbox arguments / triggerwords (others might say bullshit bingo words) like "scaling", "centralized", "sharks", "cycle", a few random charts, blend and voila - the next post is there. 
Sorry, but I can´t conclude anything anymore from those posts. They appear too much reward-driven than really insightful.

BTW: You forgot the Lighnting Network. It is not yet fully there, but it has some potential.
