Technology is increasing exponentially; this happened 12 years ago. Why aren't we getting regular updates on the ability to control machines with our minds? Because the more progress we make in that regard the more it becomes a military technology and the ultimate form of control. Simple as that; this applies to many other technologies as well. We will continue to hear rumors and whispers or be fooled into thinking the military industrial complex isn't lightyears ahead of the public sector.

Rolling out 5G wireless internet is not a profitable business model unless those who control it are seeking to control everything. The overhead cost of implementing the system is not going to pay for itself unless the bulk of the human population becomes further enslaved.
Not to worry, people don't like to be enslaved, so the strategy here is to let technology create massive abundance, scoop the vast majority of gains for the elite, and then give the scraps to the rabble while calling it progress. I love capitalism.

# Amazon SMF5
I haven't talked about work in a while, but SMF5 sort center has been ramping up their "security" measures like crazy. It's full on like going to the airport now. Thanks for the illusion of safety guys! I've been working max-length shifts ever since California was closed back down. Profits are being raked in like a flood.
I can fully see how many people are getting sick around me just by how the company responds. Then they tell us about it weeks later and I backtrack and tell myself, "yeah that makes sense". Lot of people getting sick at SMF5 right now. Funny how they took away our hazard pay before we started getting infected. Although looks like I just got 8 text messages this morning that I just saw that are adding some of that hazard pay back in the short term.

# Temp checks not effective.
They are still doing temperature checks at the front door with an IR-scanner. No way to get into the building without having your temp checked and wearing a mask. I've always questioned the accuracy of these temp checks, and now even moreso.
They've also very recently added these blast shield things to the sorting lanes that have the appearance of helping, but I can't help but laugh at how stupid they are. They've divided up the lanes using transparent pieces of plastic, but in doing so have blocked paths and added dozens of bottlenecks in the building that force people to get closer to one another in a lot of situations.

As time progresses, it feels more and more like these measures are simply being implemented to provide the illusion of safety just like the airport. # I'm no stranger to data manipulation.
There are plenty of times I've withheld information in my blog because it did not suit my agenda or point I was making. No one is objective 100% of the time. Take the article above for example. I could easily source it to justify extreme measures or that this is all some authoritarian scam.
The big scare they've been pushing recently is that you lose your antibodies to COVID after a few weeks. Talk about a justification for mandating constant vaccinations. That being said, this particular article is actually pretty centrist, so one could viably us it to support either side of the argument. That's just the way it is.
It is also hinting that getting the virus a second time will be worst than the first, but also argues the opposite. So many ways to manipulate the data. Doesn't even matter if people try to fact-check it. Once it's out there many readers aren't going to look any farther than that. The echo chamber has spoken.
# Conclusion
Words are stronger than weapons. This has always been true, but now as we forge ahead into this crazy data and technology driven reality it becomes exponentially more relevant. It can be hard to stay optimistic, especially when the people on your side shrug their arms when it comes to a solution. However, I believe humanity is on the brink of rapid evolution, so who knows where we will actually end up. Life finds a way.
