Though am not so much into traditions hence also not in New Year's resolutions and actually executing them. But I guess we (at least I) am wired in a way a new year starts with a change of behaviour; At least to try a change of behaviour.

Anyways, an hour or so ago I suddenly got this urge to start writing again. Not necessarily because I want to write, but more like the urge to share some of my knowledge with you hoping it'll help you and/or inspire you in one or the other way.

The thought and feeling came to me just before I wanted to leave home for a round of grocery shopping for dinner tonight. I made an instant decision to create something from all the stuff I have at home, so I could start writing this article immediately. With less than 15 posts published and shared with you in 2021, I feel too many opportunities waisted to share interesting 'stuff' with you. Must admit, I've written many posts in my head during last year, but failed to put them into real writing. Donno why. Maybe because I always wanted to top my previous post. And all of them became like tiny books.

Ok Ok, I'll give you one already. When you are a MacBook user, you may like to check MacDown editor, its the markdown editor I use for all my HIVE/LEO and even 3Speak posts. I just downloaded the latest version since my new MacBook with Apple chip and all wasn't equipped with this tool, yet. The current version works perfectly! Better than the version I had before installed on my somewhat older (8 years already) and slower MacBook (slow as a turtle by now).

## When the Gut is right "Zignaly"

Ok, let's jump to what the title implies and what I promised you before, bring some information or inspiration to you.

In 2021 I spend an enormous amount of hours in the crypto market, spend much time in many project communities, researched numerous projects, made good and made very bad investment and trading decisions. Some of that I'll plan to share with you in this and future posts and comments to your post and in private chats (if you let me) and and and...

My most recent investment decision is maybe a good one, or maybe not. Time will tell. But so far so good. When I opened their website after finding a handful of their tokens in my wallet, I felt: This can be something that will take off!

It's [Zignaly](https://zignaly.com/) and goes by the token name ZIG.

An eToro equivalent for crypto.

My gut: "eToro doing really well, why not this one?"

I was just a day late for the token jump from around 8ct to around 13ct. My gut got the best of me, so I bought a handful. Then my logic told me: "edje: this is likely the peak after the quick runup!" Hence I sold, fortunately for a slightly higher value, so no loss, just breakeven. I waited for a little but was too impatient, so started DCAing into the token.

Three buys later, the token at 10ct just a little over 24hrs ago, I felt I shouldn't have listened to my **gut** but to my **logic**. In a private chat, someone was telling me most of these services don't host honest traders. When going for the profit-share peeps, they may just try and take your money in one or the other way. And the follow-xyz-trader service doesn't seem to be popular with Zignaly. Plus, the website said something like: "1M$ made by follow and profit share traders in a month." The service is around for like 3 years already. Not much usage, for sure. They launched their token something like 10 months ago, ie after they saw some increase in service usage. Not a bad way in my honest opinion.

**My logic said: Be careful.**
**My gut said: You done the right thing.**

Then... When in China the new year started, this **ZIG** token started to show bullish. I was looking at the trading screens at MEXC a lot, which showed me clearly some whales are manipulating the price. I have no idea why they do this, but I felt a whale (or multiples thereof) are trying to keep the price down until the new fiscal year started. The selling pressure started to slow down after the switch of years in Hong Kong, Shanghai, Singapore time zones. And it started its breakout a few hours later, still 2021 in Europe from where I am.

Anyways, whatever the reason for the gradual increase in value over the last 24 hours is, my gut was right. Incredible gains on the clock for the last day: something like 25% to 30%. After it did like 50% gain two days ago while BTC is still not in Bull mode.

I really don't know if Zignaly is a safe investment, or to what levels the token value can grow. I do know I like the service concept. But I also do know I don't like the relatively low amount of traders that provides the profit-share service and the very limited use of the follow-trader service. But!? The concept is great, isn't it? And the market cap is stupid low, something like 40M USD with fully diluted at 145M USD *([source: coingecko](https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/zignaly?__cf_chl_jschl_tk__=BiNQ7iFX7kJJAF61kP7A5WlbpxwT1eysFj0jcTKnsSE-1640969928-0-gaNycGzNCuU))*.

## When the Logic is better to the Gut "MetaHero" and "Everdome"

I'll plan separate posts for this one, for the details, but I can inform you I missed a lot of 'trade' opportunities because I was holding on to tokens when they broke out and increased like 100% to 200%, thinking: "It'll dip a little and come back up and go much further!", or "Why taking the risk to materials the profits and see the token go up much further?" I assure you, in these situations, the **logic** shall **always** prevail. Or at least shall enhance the **gut** feel when that feeling tells you to sell but overshadowed by the **FOMO** feeling.

One of those projects I believe in a lot is MetaHero and the new project of the same founder, Everdome. Though I made some interesting gains (and materialised some of the profits) with MetaHero, I could've been sitting on at least 2 to 3 times more tokens **IF** I would've applied **Logic** instead of **Gut** and **FOMO**. Anyways, as mentioned already, I'll talk about these projects - and others - in posts to come. Here are just a few links you may like to check:

## Feature Request for Leo Finance dApp

I love to see the possibility within the LeoFinance dApp to publish a post in another HIVE community. Like this is possible with 3Speak.

Maybe I'm selfish, but the first post of the year, I really want to publish in the community I established some long time ago whilst the post is more like a Leo Finance one than belongs in the 'other' community {please continue reading and you'll discover this post belongs to that other community as well}.

Originally established - the other community - with the idea to get peeps to add more value to their own music posts, now I do like to see a wider topic base. For months, am playing with the idea to try and group peeps together who have something interesting to share and know what it means to be part of a community at HIVE. Those who engage. Those who go by Quality over Quantity. Those who can inspire others by their own experiences, opinions and stories. Those who apply their brains in whatever form when they create a post. Am sure many fall into this 'category' and am happy to welcome you all to this little corner at HIVE called "Qsounds" - soon to become "Q" again.

Anyways...

I simply love it when I can publish crypto-related posts through the Leo Finance dApp, into another community whilst the post is considered a LeoFinance post instead of a HIVE post linked into Leo Finance by using one of the tags that are supported by Leo Finance.

## Dear Q Community

As you may have read in the previous paragraph, the Qsounds community will not only be about music and personal - music related - stories. I plan to rebrand the community back to "Q" again. It was called like that before the Qanon peeps started to post right into this community. Just relatively recently I learned (with the help of MiPiano) how to hide posts in the community channel, so whenever Qanon peeps think again the "Q" community is about their beliefs, I can simply hide their posts. Though I'm open to any belief and try and respect any worldview, I don't like to see their messages in this community.

As you can read above, the "Q" community shall be about inspiring people in one or another way and can contain any type of topic, from music to crypto to whatnot. Sharing personal knowledge, opinions and experiences are more or less the core elements for what I like to see in the "Q" community.

## Inspiration? Gut and or Logic

Though **Logic** told me to change the scope and mission for the **Q**-community - the idea was developed over the last few months - it was **Gut** that made it happen. When I started writing this post something like 3 hrs ago, I didn't have the intention at all to execute on this change of mission and vision for the Q community, but then my **Gut** told me: "**Do it Edje! Follow your Gut and Heart!**"

Though some to more of you may think this post is full of blah blah, I do hope I got you inspired a little. Gut and Logic. They can go hand in hand. They can be fighting with each other. In any case, try and listen to both of them and decide which one you like to follow.
