Morin used to be a happy child when things where going  well for her parents. Her father was a site engineer and her  mother a trade. Her father goes to work every morning and comes back latest by six in the evening while her mother sales her ware in her shop which is located at the front of their house.

Her daily routine was simple. She wakes up by five in the morning have a one hour study time take her bath and get ready for school then join the family in the living area for morning devotion and breakfast before school bus comes to pick her by six Forty-five in the morning.

The same bus will drop her home by four in the evening. After sorting her assignments then she will do the house chores then help her mother in dinner preparation.  She was really enjoying soft life and was grateful for it. Despite the comfort, her mother made sure she had good home training. She instill decipline in her and does well to call her to order when necessary. Simply put she was well taken care of but not spoilt.

Few months to her fifteen birthday her father lost his job and they had to survive on the small amount of money he had saved up in his account which soon got executed after paying her tution and other bills in advance for the next one year so they had to depend on her mother's shop for thier daily bread.

After feeding from the shop for about six months there was nothing left in the shop. Her father was still job hunting and they started living from hand to mouth. One day Morin called her mother saying *****mom please I will like to have a word with you.**** The mother responded saying **go on dear I am all ears.**

****Mum I saw an advet at the book shop down the road that they are in need of a bookshop assistant and I fell I should take up the job because of three reasons ma. Number one reason is that the school is on holiday and I am not really doing anything at home for now. Second reason is that my bookshop subscription has expired and I don't want you and dad being bothered to renew it as we have limited resources.

I think being a staff at the bookshop will make me have access to borrow books,read and return and thirdly,any amount they are willing to pay may be useful for one thing or the other around the house pending the time that the holidays will be over.****

Her mother was quite for some time before responding in her response she said **Morin you are such an intelligent girl and I thank God for your life. You have spoken well and I understand your intention but you need to give me time to talk it through with your dad. I will discuss this with him when he returns tonight and we will give you a response after devotion tomorrow morning.**

That night was the longest Morin had experience in her life. She wish she could fast forward the time to morning so she could know her faith but she had to wait all the same. By six in the morning she was in the living room for devotion as usual and after devotion she sat quietly in anticipation for her parents response to her request. Her waiting period was not that long as her father addressed her immediately.

**Morin, your mother told me about what you desscused with her yesterday night and I most say that I am proud of you. We are going to allow you to take up the job so you can have experience of the outside world but we promise you that whatever money you make from it will be saved for you and will not be used to run the home.**

With that been said and other advice,Morin started working as an assistant in the book shop and she was deligent with her work. She borrows books and return them on time too.The bookshop open from Monday to Saturday but Morin does not work on Saturday it was her off day.

After few weeks of working at the bookshop then one Friday she borrowed a book on stones and rock as she was reading through she saw four one thousand dollars bills in one of the pages. The way the money was kept one can tell that it has been there for god knows how long there is no way it can be for her boss. The bookshop owner.

She quickly went to Google search the current exchange rate at that time on her phine and she saw that it was a huge amount of money. She taught of what the money could do for them at the house at that time putting their living conditions into consideration but she felt I'll at ease and uncomfortable to keep the money because it was not hers.

By Monday she returned the book to the bookshop and handed the one thousand dollars bill over to her boss. The boss was surprised and demand to see her parents. On getting to Morin's house her boss spoke to her parents saying ****you have raised a good child and the society will be proud of you. Morin knows that this money does not belong to me and still returned it anyways.

I can not keep the money either so here is what we are going to do, daddy Morin, take this money, exchange it to our currency pay ten percent to any orphanage of your choice and use the remaining to start any business of your choice. The family were so happy and they thank Morin's boss before seeing her off to her car.
