I know i haven’t been writing here lately, but im here to explain why!!

As you might have seen in January i finished my first semester studying engineering, and it was tough, really tough!! On top of that, i failed two subjects😅. 

This semester I was determined to improve and to make the best out of it. I had learnt how uni worked, so this semester wouldn’t be that hard, right???? (At least thats what I thought)

I’ll give you some context: i decided to take 6 subjects in total, retaking physics I and 5 new subjects. The new subjects were: Physics II, differential equations, algebra and multi variable calculus, Chemistry II, and material sciences. 

I started off the semester really motivated and ready to ace all of the subjects. However, I quickly realised how hard these subjecte were. I tried preparing for the exams months before hand and tried to keep everything up to date, but no matter how hard i tried the results did not reflect the effort i was putting in. This was extremely frustrating, i couldn’t understand what was wrong with me, and i couldn’t possibly put more effort than what i was putting in that moment. I failed every single exam,  the grades were 2, 1.5, 4, etc. (over 10)

During easter break i finallly decided i had to change this. My friends were studying far less than me and were getting better results. From that point onwards I tried putting minimal time into studying and tried to be super efficient whilst studying. This along with other methods helped me in the end to have an incredible come back.

(I needed exactly a 7 to pass the subject)


Overall, for the final exams i had to put and incredible amount of hours, however this time with new studying methods. I would study around 6-7h for the final weeks of exams. Although, this sounds horrible I consider it was completely worth it for the end results. 

After all of this hard work i finally got my reward!!!
