My LeoFinance Testimonial - How does it sound making +800$/month in LEO?

LeoFinance will change lives if it keeps following the current path.

It already changed mine in a good way and I'll be eternally grateful for that. And what I did? I was in the right place at the right time... and of course, made the right decision.

I'm the proud owner of 120K LEO & 10K LEOM.

And it's not only the fact of that the assets combined are worth +40K$ at the time of writing, but it's also the fact that they're yielding a combined profit in excess of ~800$ month worth in LEO.

This is serious money. And I'm not living in any fiscal paradise or economy with depreciated currency. 

I live in Spain, a European country where the minimum wage is around 800-1000€ before taxes (and where I assure that most people are living with much less).

### Era of Abundance

Remember when @coyotelation earned in october LEO worth of 2 minimum wages in Brazil? Check their [post ](https://leofinance.io/hive-167922/@coyotelation/my-leo-rewards-from-last-month-earned-me-almost-the-same-as-two-minimum-wages-in-brazil) for reference. Also, @taskmaster4450le stressed the importance of that fact and wrote a [detailed post](https://leofinance.io/@taskmaster4450le/the-power-of-the-upvote-leo-already-changing-lives) analyzing the matter.

Crypto is changing a lot of things and us early adopters will take maximum profit of the **era of abundance** that's coming.

It's true that I'm a big user, but my LEO curation + staking earnings are equal to a minimum wage in my country, Spain. In EURO (€), a currency on par with the USD ($). I can't stress enough the importance of this fact. What will be next?

Maybe you think that I invested a lot of money (which according to some level standards it could easily be). But IMHO it's not. For reference, I bought (at least) 50K LEO at 0,22 HIVE or less. All my LEOM were bought at 2 HIVE/LEOM.

I should also say that I believed in LEO when the trust was at all-time lows. I took a decent risk, and now my stake is the prize. 

The gross amount could easily be around ~10.000$; If it's more, **not far of**.

 Decided to dig a bit on my feed and found my old entries (when I made my previous purchases). Spoiler, DCA into projects you believe/see usecase + CONSTANT monitoring wins. 

YOU CAN ALSO DO THE SAME. Start investing slow, but with a plan, keep growing, showing up & compound. Gains will come alone. Not only gains. Also connections & personal fulfilment. I assure that's worth it. 

Start now, it's better than tomorrow.

Needless to say again that I feel proud myself about making those early good decisions. But credit where credit is due.

Thanks to @scaredycatguide , @nealmcspadden and @rollandthomas for the Leo Talks. I remember to be about to join once, but wasn't unable for external reasons. I enjoy a lot when you meet and talk about LEO, HIVE and crypto overall. Watched you for hours while eating, relaxing or just doing my things. Thanks for that. 

Also thanks to @resiliencia, @trumpman, @acesontop, @queengaga and @santigs for being my most active engagers. It's always great to grow & improve together.

@dalz and @edicted need separate mentions. because I learn a lot from their stats & work respectively. Does somebody ask about quality content on the Hive chain? = I recommend dalz + edicted always.

800$? that's 3-4 times the average salary the low income earner earns monthly from my country's cost of living (Philippines). That's equivalent to having a salary of a professional from a grad school minimum. Yeah, Leo token and the community are changing each other's lives every upvote and exchange of information made. 

I should've started accumulating Leo back when it was equal to the price of Hive. Instead I invested it on other tokens that pays out dividends or relies on capital appreciation. Now focusing on accumulating more.

Yeah, $100 a month will be enough for me. ($300 a month will be enough for the whole family.) Average salary in Libya (for normal people) is less than $200 these days, *much less!*

Currently, my portfolio is a bit unbalanced towards LEO (which is a great problem to have tbh), but I don't want to sell any.

This is an amazing income per month and with such proofs in the open I am sure more users will onboard and hunt the dream of it. Things are a little bit harder now to get to the top without any investment, but with hard work and consistent content creation you can still make it.

I must confess that I am on this path and reaching around $200 a month with daily posts and comments. It takes me some time but I am doing this as I am layering up and I can only grow and move up from here.

I've always dreamed of the same type of thing but with steem, and then hive lol.  And when I first saw Leo I thought it was so cool but didn't understand how a sidechain could become more value than the original chain.  I have to admit that before the big fork last I was delegating a nice amount to @leo.finance and staking my earnings, but converted all my tokens for the fork.  I'm just now getting back to @leo.finance and wish I was still staking. I need to earn my way back.  I'm very happy that has worked out so well for you and you're making such a nice income from it.

That was a great story to hear. I'm nowhere near the success you've achieved. I'm currently getting closer towards 1000 LEO staked. Investing in those LEOM was probably a great choice. It's such an underrated opportunity. Thanks for bringing those to attention :)

I have personally seen like half or even more of my LEO earnings come from engagingly comments. That's a fascinating thing to mention. Folks who are not great writers/bloggers still have a chance at making decent money as long as they leave valuable comments. 

Good comments even help with the SEO. I've discovered many things reading comment sections. In a way comments are like unsung hero of LEO. It's also like 100% manually curated.

This is excellent because for example, unlike Spain, in Venezuela you earn less than $1 a month. So imagine 800 a month, which is great, and no boss will exploit you in a daily 10-hour job.

The numbers are pretty mind boggling when you stop and look at it in terms of the minimum wage in what are still major European countries.

I just want to back up that it can be done.  

I only started accumulating my 40K stake after the STEEM to HIVE saga and was buying LEO in 1000 token or so chunks during my power down.  

Along with my daily HIVE author rewards all being pumped into LEO, my stake has come pretty much without any fiat going in.

My advice echoes yours - start now.

A great accomplishment you made there. I live in the netherlands and here the minimum wage is a bit more than the 800 euros you mention, but when you have NO income, like I have, than those 800 a month would be a life changer for me. 

Unfortunately I only have like 733 leo at this moment. No LEOM, but I'm building ... and try to keep my faith in the future.

Leo has impacted me a whole lot as well. I remembered buying at 4 cent putting all the money I had at hand then. Don't know what's correct, but I decided to power down my HIVE like a couple of months ago and watch from the sidelines. I'll keep some just in case though.

Don't rush with that decision, a regular job gives you stability which no crypto project can match, especially if you're doing both things at the same time.

You both leave on the central axis (EET time zone) of Europe where wages are similar. Even if everyone is saying this is Eastern Europe, it is not, it is central at it can be. The one in the Baltic region is almost close to the geographical center and yes, this part still has a lot to recover economical to equal the Western side of the continent, but this is not the point, the question is why wait, if crypto gives you the leverage to do it every where in the world?

Trust me I know the feeling..our economy here in Greece is completely broken as well.

On top of that I got rekt the last few months. The side effects of Covid were horrible for our 2 years old new business.We used to run a small coffe shop... That's the reason I didn't have the time nor the strength to write a post the last few weeks.

We had to shut down completely...and huge debts is my new normal...

In the end, LEOM are an illiquid version of LEO with fixed rewards or at least this is how I see it.

You're exchanging liquidity to buy/sell them for the added benefit of fixed rewards (independently of what happens with LEO staking distribution).

Anyway, it was a great trade. But needless to say, opportunities come and go. Happy to share the boat with you :)

Congratulations on basically changing your life for the better! You kept with a project you believed in and it's come back to reward you in the biggest way possible.

The good news is that your stake will just keep compounding as time goes on and it will increase above minimum wage in Spain.

Here in the UK, minimum wage was increased recently but still below the "living wage". Why the two can't be combined is beyond me...

I'm with you in the abundance mindset, we have a unique situation we're in where wealth and opportunities can be spread far to those wanting to receive it.

Keep inspiring. I am going to continue upping my stake, managed to reach a nice milestone a couple of days ago of 1,000 LP 🙂

Ah wow thanks a lot man! Yeah I'm sure there's plenty of different stories from everyone, love the uniqueness from that challenge last week where people were sharing stories of how blockchain and crypto influence personal finances.

Now I'm even more motivated to the next milestone - Mr Taskmaster has laid the gauntlet down of 1,500 LP, hope to get there before end of Q1 2021. I've started looking in to this LBI project too, looking forward to seeing how that goes!

and there other exiting possibilities around the corner to build up on LEO. LBI a LEO backed investment token will start next monday. The concept is proofen and can be seen on @spinvest, an Hive backed investment token. Worth to look into it in my honest opinion but this is @no-advice

Wow! That's impressive! I just hopped on the LEO train and I've begun putting 50% of my HIVE earnings into LEO as I think they have an excellent model and excellent team behind the project.

I'm starting to post mostly tech/programming related content. But, I'm into finances and crypto trading too. So, I'm sure I'll be posting a bit about that as well.

Hoping one day I can catch up to you on those earnings! 😁

Lol that's like my double my crypto portfolio in a month. Amazing. Would be a deal breaking if I could average a $100 year monthly. Testimonies like this is one of the reasons I stay active and not selling my leo tokens. Leofinance is changing lives. Kudos!

It's also dropping from my side; Thought I was doing something wrong regarding curation and when I double-checked realised that everything was OK.

That's good for us long-term. Better distribution means more LEO in more hands. great work from your side!

In the end, we'll receive less LEO, but it will have a much greater value.

You rocked it man. Being a firm stacker of everything ,it never crossed my mind to liquidate some holdings and put in LEO. (Still tough for me.) 

It will  look very ironic that I understood the leo potential when it was [dirt cheap](https://peakd.com/hive-167922/@r1s2g3/how-to-spend-2-steem-wisely) like this and never put any strong effort to build my stake.

But another truth is that I was prioritizing to reach my 500 HP and Splinterland's Maverick status at that time. Only consolation is that I never sold my LEO whatever price it seems . (A litle swing trade I do in HE but overall keep staking it.)

I'm feeling pretty chuffed with my much more conservative buy-in slightly later - I'm doing oK at pushing 40K and almost no miners - so I'm happy for you! 

Good move on those miners - I get the feeling earnings are going down across the board, but if that's the case, the LEO price should compensate.

I have to recognise that sometimes I'm a bit mad and never expected LEO to perform like this in this short amount of time.

I feel very comfy with the miners and not planning to sell. If I had to sell LEO stake for whatever reason I prefer to sell the 'plain' LEO first (for liquidity reasons, mainly).

At the moment I'm powering down HIVE because I don't like how the project is being handled at the moment. I can change in a few months if I think that the correct decisions are made though. In addition, I don't want to sell LEO, but I'm already overexposed to HIVE 'related assets', I see LEO more valuable vs HIVE atm.

Oh no more sell pressure on Hive!

I can't sell mine, I'm caught somewhere between -

- Believing in the Fundamentals 
- Liking/ trusting a lot of the witnesses (I've met a few of them) 
- Being painfully aware that LEO is pretty much stuck on Hive and totally dependent on it. 
- Being an emotional retard (I got that from Trumpan) 

Having said that quite a lot of my Steem PD went on, well, this place, Exode, Splinterlands, BTC, so I haven't exactly been a Hive maximalist. 

So when I say can't sell - I mean what I've got! 

Oh, also it's too damn painful to sell at 12-13 cents! Actually that's probably the main reason! 

What's that line - buy when there's blood in the streets, even when it's your own - does that apply when Hive's been bleeding for 6 months and you're swimming in the stuff already?

I'm VERY GLAD I diversified out of Steem and away to Hive this year! 

I know two fairly well-known Orcas around the 150K mark who certainly wish they hadn't piled their entire Steem PD into Hive!

This is massive man.. $800 per month will make me a super rich man in my country. I earn $20-$25 a month in the job I do, my work sponsors my daily transportation and afternoon meals. In fact, many people in my country are praying for my job because there isn't any jobs available. The minimum wage here is about $25-$45 which they say to have raised to $77 but not yet implemented it.

Man, I am moved by your story and hoping to look forward sharing my story as well. I believe crypto can save me from this mess of a country I am in.

It gets interesting at 50k when one earns roughly 20 Hive/leo a day. I always think of our tokens in terms of 1 Hive/leo = 1 $ because I know we'll be there rather sooner than later again. I think it helps in getting motivated when you earn even 1 Hive/leo a day with just a bit of stake... That could potentially be 300$ a month! Even in higher wage paying countries that is not too shabby. 

I hope this technology can transform many lives, and I especially think this to be the case in lower wage countries
