Pushing daily and growing in life, I have varied experiences in so many aspects of life. There is something I have learned recently about the power of being focused. In my pursuit of life goals and purposes, I have realized that I can't be everywhere. I can't please everybody. I can't be like everybody neither would I become like everybody. God has diversified different routes for everyone to pursue his or her assignment in life.

When I noticed the kind of mistakes most young people are doing today, that's what prompted me to drop some notes on this block perhaps it would be a blessing to somebody's life. Why do marriages turn to a wrestling box? Why do relationship tear apart? Why are young people become confused on what to study? When you are not focused you can't achieve anything. Staying focused might make a man look like idiot but there's a latent power which many struggle and give easily because of the inability to pick signals on the power of focus.

What focus has done in my life till now is quite immeasurable and amazing. I may not be able to count them all . A young man ever met me and started complaining about how others are making it and prospering. I patiently waited for him to finish and descent. He said he has been a musician for a couple of years but none of his songs has gone far and no one knows him. I quickly rendered that it's very simple...focus. What's your focus in life as a musician?Hmmm I realized that he's guilty of some things. He lack what I quickly called focus. As far as I am concerned, this is one of the powerful tool that can't and shouldn't be taken for granted. You can be like everybody therefore you must sit down to find out all your strength and weaknesses so that you would be able to harness the available potential for maximum impact. He had challenge with consistency and being intentional. Today, he's transformed having better results.

The opposite of focus is distraction. When a man is not focused definitely you would easily be distracted and when that is done, you become prey and agent for destruction. One of the ways to eliminate distractions is understand your potential and tend it well. Harness it for maximum impact. Most people don't take out time to evaluate themselves to position themselves where they belong.

To eliminate distractions, have a goal and write it down clearly. Set up daily tasks and ensure that you follow it till the end. Being focused might not be easy but one must be intentional.
