Darey had just marked his 25th birthday; he had grown to be a strong man. He was tall, had well-built muscle like his father, and had blonde hair like his mom. What made him more attractive were his golden eyes and fair skin. Darey had always wished for life in the city; he felt he could make more difference in the city by attending his farmer farm located on the countryside. The next morning after his birthday, Darey packed his boxes while waiting for his parents and siblings to step out of their room.

A few hours later, he could hear the radio playing some music in the sitting room while the noise from the kitchen didn't stop, which meant his mom was already preparing their breakfast or his little sister was washing the dishes. Darey stood up from his bed, picked up his box, and headed downstairs to his family. As soon as he stepped into the sitting room, he saw his dad with his radio in his hand, trying to tune the radio to a better station to listen to. He watched his dad, who was always on sport shot in the morning, with his skimpy siglet. 
 
"Good morning, dad," Darey greeted his dad with a low tone, but his dad wasn't paying much attention to him; his attention was on his radio. "Mother, good morning." This time around, he raised his voice so loudly that everyone in the house could hear him. "Son, how are you doing? I hope you slept." His dad couldn't finish his statement as he set his eyes on Darey Box. It was then Darey Mom also came out of the kitchen to see what was wrong. "My son, what is the box for? Hope, no problem," she asked with a worried face.
 
"There isn't one mom. Dad, Mom. I am living for the city today," Darey said while looking at his feet because he was trying to avoid his mom facial expression. She had been diagnosed with a disease for which the money they made from the farm couldn't pay the bills. It was also one of the reasons Darey wanted to go to the city, but he could never tell his parents, because they wouldn't let him go.
 
"Son, the city can be a difficult place; do you even know where you are going? Don't be a fool; you're just a little boy. You may lost your way, and I will never find it," his father snapped. "Forgive me, father; I may get lost; I may not find my way. Which is why I need your prayers. I have made up my mind, and I would make this work one way or another," Darey said as he went on both knees to thank his parents and ask their forgiveness. He stood up, picked up his box, and left home.

As he got on the bus, he kept asking himself if he had made the right decision. He never wanted to leave his family when they needed him the most, but he was doing this for them, that was what he believed. 
 
Four years have passed since darey left home, and there was no way he could contact them until the new post office at the city square was open. This time around, he could send a letter to anyone in any part of the world. All he needed to do is describe the address properly. As soon as the information got to Darey, Darey begins his letter

"My dearest dad and mom,
 
I hope this letter finds you all in good health and high spirits. It has been far too long since I last heard your voices and felt the warmth of your embrace. As I sit here in the bustling city, surrounded by the hustle and bustle of urban life, my thoughts often drift back to the serene countryside, to the comfort and love of home. It's hard to get by every day; most of the money I earn is for food and sent home. I know it might be too late to say this, but I miss my mother's house. **In my mother's house**, I never had to struggle like this; I was the boss, not the one serving.
 
Life in the city has been both exhilarating and challenging. I have faced many trials and tribulations, but through perseverance and determination, I have managed to carve out a place for myself here. Every step I take and every decision I make is guided by the love and values instilled in me by you, my beloved family.

Now that my mother's health is better, I will be returning home next week to claim my heritage. I will work with you on the farm and, with my business knowledge, make our farm prosperous. See you soon."
