Which Cryptocurrency Hardware Wallet Do You Use?
The news about Canadian crypto-exchange [QuadrigaCX CEO's death](https://steemit.com/exchange/@firepower/keep-your-cryptocurrency-safe) has gotten mainstream media attention. In the past 24 hrs I've seen more than 20 articles and have received a dozen dms from people asking if this is true. 

Along with all this hundreds if not thousands of people have restated the number one rule in crypto: If you don't own the private keys to your wallet, you don't own the cryptocurrency.

Which brings me to my questions: 
1. Which cryptocurrency hardware wallet do you use and why did you choose this brand?
2. Why are you are not using a cryptocurrency hardware wallet and store on exchanges instead?
3. Are you using any other online or software wallet? Which one? 

I've been using a Ledger Nano S and I think it's pretty great for the price especially with the discounts going on these days. Price in India has become quite reasonable as well.

I use nano S for everything but Steem >.< It's because it is cheaper than others and has all the functions I need. Occasionally I leave a little currency on  Binance with 2fa if it isn't supported by the wallet. I know people who used that exchange. Luckily no one I know kept money on there. Most of them gave up when the banks stopped tristing that exchange (an ominous sign if any)

I don't have a Ledger Nano or any other wallet that type. I use a few project web wallets, a few software wallets, and a few app wallets from said projects. I use to use paper wallets and have <$100 worth of crypto stored on Coinbase.

Most of the projects I invest in now are like Steem and have wallets that let you power up your crypto instead of keeping it liquid. I really like this as it allows me to see if someone is trying to steal any crypto by starting a power down I didn't initiate with little liquid holdings.

I too use the nano S, I have bought it recently and need to put all of my cryptos on there. I have heard that binance is pretty much as safe as having a hardware wallet now, but I could be wrong?

Not that there's much in it, but hey... 😂
I chose it because it had better reviews than many of the others and seemed to be more reliable than some of the other choices on the market, plus it was more affordable than some of the other options.
