Si ya conocen un poco de la vida de Ozzy y de como eran los 80s para las bandas en ese entonces, sabran que practicamente no habia una sola de ellas que no estuviera lidiando con problemas de drogas u alcohol entre alguno de sus miembros, este era el caso de Black Sabbath y varios de sus integrantes, aunque todos llegaron a abusar de sustancias, generalmente, el grupo acusaba a Ozzy de ser el que más se excedía, terminando en su expulsión del legendario grupo, por otro lado, aunque decepcionando, Osbourne no daría un paso atrás y en cambio, comenzaría sentar las bases de un proyecto que ya venia pensando desde hace algun tiempo, Blizzard of Ozz, en un principio, se suponía que esta debió ser el nombre original de la nueva banda de Osbourne, pero la reputación y la fama del propio vocalista, hizo que su nombre fuera el terminara en siendo el nombre oficial, y Blizzard of Ozz, como solo el Album Debut de Ozzy como vocalista, uno puede darse cuenta del talento que tenia este hombre tan solo escuchando como era su voz en Black Sabbath, pero en el momento que salieron las canciones de Crazy Train y Mr.Crowley, ambos tremendos éxitos, fue cuando todo el mundo entendió que Ozzy seguía reteniendo la grandeza de la que ya gozaba en Black Sabbath.

Como todo gran artista de renombre, Ozzy no se quedaría solo con un éxito en su album debut, las buenas criticas y la buena recepción de sus fans, trajeron consigo la oportunidad de que Osbourne, sacara, lo que es a mi Parecer una de la mejores piezas que ha sacado este hombre alguna vez, Diary of A Madman, juzgándolo por su contenido, honestamente no parece tampoco un excelente album, pero la solo por la canción que lleva el nombre de este disco, por como suena, por la letra que tiene y por todo su conjunto, solo con eso ya vale mi completa apreciación, de verdad para mi este fue un temazo, y para los fans, un regalo invaluable, no obstante, este album gozo de bastante polémica a travez del tiempo, mas que nada por problemas entre Osburne y su esposa (que siempre ha estado bastante involucrada en los negocios del artista para bien y para mal) y los compositores de los sonidos que aparecen en esta pieza, pero si separamos esos elementos, todos podemos coincide en que es una gran obra para el disfrute de cualquiera que le encante los clásicos del rock.

As every great artist of renown, Ozzy would not stay alone with a successful debut album, the good reviews and the good reception of his fans, brought with it the opportunity for Osbourne to release, what is in my opinion one of the best pieces that this man has ever released, Diary of A Madman, judging it by its content, honestly does not seem an excellent album, but only for the song that bears the name of this album, for how it sounds, for the lyrics that has and for all its set, This alone is worth my full appreciation, truly for me this was a great song, and for the fans, a priceless gift, however, this album enjoyed a lot of controversy over time, mostly because of problems between Osburne and his wife (who has always been quite involved in the business of the artist for better and for worse) and the composers of the sounds that appear in this piece, but if we separate those elements, we can all agree that it is a great work for the enjoyment of anyone who loves the classics of rock.

Ozzy como vocalista, es uno de los mayores referentes a nivel mundial en cuan al genero al que pertenece, no obstante, como personaje y artista resulta incluso más interesante, pues digamos que siempre ha tenido un extraño romance con las corrientes ocultistas de su época, cosa que ha expresado a través de su música con sus letras oscuras o giros en sus letras que siempre van por el camino de la magia negra o los rituales paganos, más allá de Black Sabbath, la canción que me parece más relacionada a este tipo de mundo, es la que compuso en honor a una de la mas renombradas personalidades de dicho mundo, Mr.Crowley, un famoso sectario que hizo a lo largo de su vida múltiples declaraciones controversiales y abiertamente hedonistas sobre sus rituales y sus conocimientos acerca de la magia, un personaje casi tan interesante como el mismo ozzy, si bien es cierto que este ultimo tuvo una pasión mas desenfrenada por el alcohol y las drogas que por el mismo misticismo, no de estar ligado a esta corriente de bandas que incluyeron en sus letras o en sus trayectoria, referencias, homenajes o inclusive sellos, que hacían alución a este tipo de practicas, datos curiosos cuanto menos.

La larga carrera de Ozzy le ha traído una vida llena de extravagancias, polémicas y situaciones bastantes duras por las que pasa cualquier artista de su talla, y sin embargo, en la actualidad, s sigue manteniendo como uno de los iconos más grandes del Heavy metal, lamentablemente, su salud no esta en sus mejores momentos y si me preguntan es bastante comprensible que este sea el caso, pues una vida como la que ha llevado este señor, tiene que pasar factura tarde o temprano, no obstante, lo más admirable y lo que hace que muchos se ganen su completo respeto es su entera dedicación a la música y arduo trabajo entregando piezas de música para sus fanáticos, aun después tener ya más de 74 años, un verdadero ejemplo de como la grandeza, por muy extragante que sea, nunca abandona a quienes están dotados de un genio musical y artístico esplendido, un grande Ozzy Osbourne, ojala se quede mucho mas tiempo con nosotros y que su salud pueda verse otra vez renovada.
