Totally agree, my friend @freewritehouse. Now, I have noticed that in the writer's native language, the text, when passed through the AI detector, says it is human-generated, but when translated into English, for example, the detector states that it is AI-generated. When I write in English and with the help of an online translator, I have had this happen to me. To avoid this, I have had to edit the translation in either language. I am finishing level 8/10 in French, when I use the online translator for French, the detector says 100% human written. It has only happened to me when translating the text, either from Spanish to English or vice versa.

I feel anyone that's been caught posting AI related should be warned, since you said you have noticed most of those posts are from new persons and if they continue even after drawing their attention to it, then they should be banned from posting in the community. 


If strict actions are being taken, others will learn from it. 

I'm not really against AI as a technology, but I am against the assumprion of fair-use that most AI bots seem to be using. On here, things are more tricky because hardly anyone puts a copuright notice on their posts here.

Could it be an idea to protect the community by making a default copyright status for posts in the community?

Maybe see if we can add a "web" flavor to the [Open-world Licence](https://peakd.com/hive-191038/@pibara/the-open-world-licence) and make that flavour the community default?

I completely agree. What's the point of writing a story if you're not going to write it yourself, adding interest, drama, and laughter? This reminder of the rules is good; there are many tools curators can use to detect AI-written facts, but it undermines the value of some people's contributions.

I'd prefer to see all of the writing on Hive be original. That being said, if they're not posting to a community that forbids it, it should be acceptable for part of a post so long as that part is **clearly marked as being written by AI**.

 If credit isn't given to the computer, that should be dealt with.
