With the current ongoing Corona-virus pandemic, I don't think life will ever be the same as it was. </p> <p>Have you thought about your future and how things will be different? </p> <h2>How do you handle change? </h2> <p><br></p> <p>People have a difficult time accepting changes in their lives. Many people get stuck in jobs because they are scared of change. They are so used to doing things the way that they do, that they will be carried out kicking and screaming but they won't give up what they have. </p> <h2>What if I told you that change is good for you?</h2> <p><br></p> <p>Many people might not agree with the above statement but I truly believe that change is a good thing and should be seen as a positive. Anything can happen to anyone at any time. Most people are scared of change, but what if something better, that will enhance your life, is waiting for you around the corner?</p> <p>This whole scenario with the coronavirus makes me think of a book that I recently read. Who moved my cheese?</p> <p>This book is all about change and why we should be prepared for change at all times. Just like this Coronavirus came unexpectedly there are many more things that can happen to anyone unexpectedly. We should always be prepared for change, and we need to learn to adapt to certain situations. </p> <h2>It's worth the read if you have not yet read this book! You can find it online <a href="https://allbookserve.org/download/who-moved-my-cheese-by-dr-spencer-johnson.pdf">here. </a></h2> <p> </p> <p>The saying, "<em><strong>good things come to those who wait</strong></em>," is so wrong! Good things come to those who go and find it. You can't just sit and wait for something to happen because you are scared. We need to take chances and sometimes, we do make mistakes, but that is the only way that we learn. </p> <p>A baby falls a few times before they actually walk. We can only learn through our mistakes, but just because you are scared doesn't mean you shouldn't take the chance. </p> <p>Many people have lost their jobs during this pandemic, so it is the perfect time to try something new. There are many more people in the same boat as you so if you don't have the money to start now, at least do the planning! </p> <p>You are never too old to start a new business, and there are so many online opportunities available these days, so do this while you have the time to explore this route. </p> <p>Life is difficult enough, but one thing that I always tell my students is to live according to the money that you bring in. Don't try and live above your standards and make lots of debt to improve your standard of living. Rather save and cope with the money you earn. You don't need a lot to survive but if you are in debt, then you have to pay back that money, and all your hard-earned money is down the drain. </p> <p>Life is full of changes, this might be more change than what we are used to, but we have no other choice but to adapt! Take it one day at a time.
